mitch84 12-14-2011 04:49 PM

hi, with Forumbits my avatars are not resized! it's real size

phpdesk 12-14-2011 04:58 PM

I have removed the functionality that was reported to be buggy, due to lack of response from the affected users. Until we resolve this issue, you may download a simplified version of the mod.

usuyusu 12-14-2011 05:48 PM

Installed and running 1.0.1 version.

:)

Thank you for this usefull hack.

What version of vB are you using? Are your stylesheets stored as files? I would like to take a look at your form as I can't reproduce this error on my test install, I switched between saving the stylesheets as files and store it in the database, this mod performs just fine in both cases on my end.

zonavipecuador 12-14-2011 08:03 PM

Work in 4.1.2?

nipponmexico 12-14-2011 08:40 PM

Great!

CoZmicShReddeR 12-14-2011 08:40 PM

When I first installed 1.02 the first time I looked at the forums page the avatars where full sized the second load they were resized am thinking that was vbulletin shrinking them down on first pageview... And once the size was auto set all avatars were fine from any computer with no over sized first time loads of the forums...

Only major thing was double avatars with 1.02 on my site... and that was only in the forum view

You could test it and let us know, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I just wanted to say thank you for the donation, SwollenCranium, I really appreciate your support! Please keep the test username active for me a bit longer, it's late up here, and I have some stuff to do in the morning, so I'll log into your website sometime during the day tomorrow, I need to see what could possibly be wrong with your setup that works fine on my end, and include the fix into the next release. Thanks again.

Thanks for letting me know, I'll add an extra conditional to check if user has got an avatar before attempting to display it. Will do that later today when I get back to my work computer.

TasteMyShotz 12-15-2011 02:40 PM

Can u add a default avatar?

I have addressed both posts above by adding a conditional to check for user's avatar presence, and if missing, either a default avatar can be entered to display (admin option) or no avatar at all is shown.

Hope this helps.

Daryn 12-16-2011 02:16 AM

Is there any way we can restyle the way the avatar shows up on forum home? I think they're a bit too small there.

Thanks for the question, I've added an extra option to set the avatar size individually for threadbits and forumbits display. That way you can make it larger on homepage if you wish. Included in version 1.0.5 of this mod.

By the way, I thought tiny mods take less time to dedicate to.

This issue has been addressed in the newer versions of the mod. Please upgrade to take advantage of the fix.

sadiq6210 12-16-2011 12:44 PM

Great
Where can I see the code? because I want to add outer border
Is there any new template added after import this mod?
Thanks

heartsglad 12-16-2011 12:53 PM

just installed on Vb 4.1.8
Working Perfectly!
You do not need to change any settings. Just upload the plugin as described above.

PS: First I've installed a plugin that sets unknown.gif (..images/misc/unknown.gif) as Default Avatar for users. Than this plugin..

datoneer 12-16-2011 12:59 PM

Now working on 4.1.8. But- when i set Display last poster avatars on threadbits. to No, it still shows me avatars

You may adjust the styling of the last poster's avatar by making changes to the latestpost_avatar.css template.
