PitchouneN64ngc 07-05-2012 02:42 PM

I made some changes which requires some tests in the product install/uninstall steps, but I had some sever issues (I needed to reinstall it entirely), I hope to test it before the end of the week-end. Sorry for the inconvenience :(

LgsOfChampions 07-05-2012 04:04 PM

I've looked around, however can't find anything. Can someone tell me exactly what this mod does?

PitchouneN64ngc 07-05-2012 07:46 PM

vBulletin Project Tools is a versatile add-on product that enhances vBulletin with project management functionality, empowering your community members to create projects, contribute to tasks, submit issues and view progress of projects. Seamless integration with vBulletin ensures maximum usability, and an administration suite within the vBulletin control panel allows full customization of projects, issues, tasks and user permissions.

I use a VB 4.2 board. How can I fix this?

Thnx
Hans

me too. If you would just post a hint, how to deactivate the tab completely, it would be nice. Until then I deactivated the project tools. Actually I don't want the tab, I would like to integrate the projecttools as a pulldown in the navigation.

Athena1984 07-08-2012 02:41 AM

To disable the tab you disable the plugin "process_templates_complete" under the plugin manager. You can then recreate the tab or just a menu with the navigation manager.

MrD 07-12-2012 11:09 AM

Hi,
@Pitch: put the new version of PT, the Tabs and other Navigation automatic in the Navmanager?
Or is it a "Quick and Dirty" implement with he navbar_end Hook?

I asked, if the navmanager is used, the Admin habve a lot of configuration. (Display Order, Tab Active or if Andreas Navmanager Addon is installed, the Usergroup Permissions)

persianpros 07-15-2012 06:11 AM

delay again :(

metalguy639 07-20-2012 08:24 PM

Is there going to be a fix for this navbar issue. I really need to use this for my site and just adding a link to the navi9gational manager sucks.

MrD 07-21-2012 08:08 AM

Hi,
The fix comes with 2.2.0 :)
But you can do it Self.
Disable the Plugin wit is for the navtab. And then put the links in the navmanager.

Works Fine

persianpros 07-22-2012 05:41 AM

but if you don't have needed skills don't use svn releases

MrD 07-22-2012 06:43 AM

Hi,
The 2.1.3 Works Fine in 4.2 with manually navbar entrys

KGodel 07-22-2012 10:04 PM

Can't wait for the update!

metalguy639 07-23-2012 05:16 PM

Er ok some did not read what I said...lol

So I'm guessing that 2.20 is not out yet?

persianpros 07-24-2012 02:39 PM

how much longer we should wait ?

metalguy639 08-02-2012 12:28 AM

Anyone know how to get the navtab to be highlighted when you add the other PT links in the navigational manager? I have a plugin from another member for the cms but the link do not have nodeid's on them for the project tools areas.

PitchouneN64ngc 08-02-2012 03:54 PM

The release will be update very soon. All opened bugs for 2.2.0 are marked as fixed and nothing were reported since some weeks.

Go to your admincp and login then go to:

Languages & Phrases>Search in Phrases>

IN the "Search for Text" field put the text "Projects" without the quotes in the box, then in the drop down labeled "Product" choose "vBulletin Project Tools". Then tick the "Phrase Text and Phrase Variable Name" box and click the "Find" button. Look for the heading "GLOBAL Phrases Containing 'Projects'", then under than find "projects" to the far left in bold print and follow it across to the edit button, click it and put what you want the tab to say in the box and click save. This is if you have disabled the plugin for the tab. If you are running vb4.2+ then you may be able to edit it in the Navigational Manager found close to the top on your left hand side sidebar when you login to the admincp.

metalguy639 08-06-2012 05:43 PM

No problem.

metalguy639 08-22-2012 03:54 AM

Is it possible to make this where you can give permission for one project to just a single user by using a user ID? What I want is the ability to place a user ID with permissions to view a single project. I want it where no one else but that user I gave permission to and myself (admins) can view that project at all. Is that possible to do?

Popa Andrei 08-30-2012 09:19 PM

Is there any alternative to this? i would not like to use a plugin that is not supported anymore.

Popa Andrei 08-30-2012 10:00 PM

I just intalled it on vbulletin 4.2.0 and its very messy.

Rckcrwlr 08-31-2012 05:09 PM

I'm looking for something like this but am concerned if there is no support?

Popa Andrei 08-31-2012 05:18 PM

To bad no one is looking in developing this further, this mod is very god.

stoute 09-09-2012 04:09 PM

Am I missing the XML file that needs to be uploaded to the Products section?

Rckcrwlr 09-09-2012 06:42 PM

It is under

uploads/included/xml

the file is:

product.vbprojecttools.xml

jluerken 09-10-2012 03:52 PM

A long time later...

PitchouneN64ngc 09-15-2012 05:39 PM

Be sure it will come sooner than I expect myself :D

persianpros 09-17-2012 06:12 AM

maybe we should wait for vb5 release :D

Popa Andrei 09-17-2012 10:19 AM

its more shure we will get vb5 before an update for this.

evouga 09-17-2012 03:00 PM

I am wanting to use this for a project, Zelda Classic, on my site. But it appears to be outdated? Any chance of further support coming, maybe after 5.0's release?

deadlySniper 09-17-2012 07:55 PM

I keep getting this error when I import

Again I ask this...

Has this been updated yet? Seems there is no one working on this anymore and no one seems to be interested in fixing the issues it has.

Hostboard 10-03-2012 11:31 AM

In April he announced it was going to be released within a week.
We have now seen 6 months of soon.

There is also a known issue with this current release and TapaTalk.

The current fix is:
Code:

Did you installed Project tools mod on your forum?
If it is, please try comment out below in line plugin file mobiquo/functions/get_thread.php at about line 538:
//($hook = vBulletinHook::fetch_hook('showthread_query')) ? eval($hook) : false;

I am also hoping the human verification mod is integrated into this as it currently is not compatable any more. It was with VB 4 but somewhere along the lines VB4's updates broke it.
