smirkley 10-05-2011 02:46 AM

Works, after the fix above to make it show.

I like the way this workes, and use the one for guests too.

For some reason the x box to close the window, the x appears twice for some reason.

K!nG 10-07-2011 01:02 AM

Well for now i got a way around to log in to my admincp by disabling all mods globally and then i logged in my admincp and uninstall this product. If i get a solution for the above issue well & good and if not than i guess i live without it :)

Scanu 10-11-2011 06:08 PM

Please if you like this mod nominate it for MOTM

karel1985 11-01-2011 04:23 PM

Scanu,

Can you include also the options to change background etc (CSS options)...
Just same option as in your other mod:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=270070

Its would be nice, if you make similar mods, that you include the same options.

Suggestion: for board that have a custom usergroup of the Awaiting Email Confirmation, option to enter the usergroupID

Scanu 11-01-2011 07:16 PM

Well that's what i wish too (right words?) i will work again to this plugin soon :)

kfyonur 11-01-2011 09:16 PM

usefull mod.

mry 11-02-2011 10:52 PM

very very usefull...

Scanu 11-03-2011 08:19 PM

2.0 version available! As Karel request I coded many more options as in my other mod SCANU's Guet Warn! Now the css options and the other options are separated. Thanks for your support!

1320Nation 11-03-2011 09:14 PM

What is the preferred method for previewing setting changes to the message box?

Scanu 11-03-2011 09:32 PM

Well that's a little hard to implement that on vbulletin, you have to try and see the result in a test account. But if you want i will try to do that.

I really only asked that question cause even though it's nice to have the upgraded additions, it is rather difficult to see the changed settings. I have another mod installed that allows me as an admin to log into a user's account as them. As long as that user is in the set usergroup "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation" I can see the setting changes to the mod. However, that is not that norm, and not everyone will be setup with that option.

CharlieDelta 11-04-2011 01:09 AM

Great job!

I really don't understand you, if you asked me the best way to see the change at the style of the mod so you can make a test account with 3 as usergroup id then you will see the warn style if you did not asked this question please say that in other words

Great ! Can i adapt this also for your other mod? (for guest to register?)

Scanu 11-06-2011 10:19 AM

If you're able to do it yes otherwise i will help you

Scanu 11-06-2011 10:43 AM

Karel find this in the xml of Guest Warn
PHP Code:

if (in_array(THIS_SCRIPT, array('register')))

And replace with
PHP Code:

if (in_array(THIS_SCRIPT, array('register','index')))

Then reupload the product via pca

Thanks, however i am using vbadvanced for index, so when i changed this as you said, then it was still visible on the index but not anymore on the forum index...

But i found it :-) the name for my vbadvanced index was adv_index so this worked !

Also, if you want to change this without reinstalling this mod (you lose the translation and settings...), its better to change in Plugin Manager

Scanu 11-06-2011 11:20 AM

Yes as you said if you use vbadvanced index the script is adv_index

I've updated the English in this file. The explanation provided is a little longer than the original, but friendlier and clearer on explaining the process.

Hello username, if you reading this, it means your one last step away from becoming a member. Please check your e-mail for your e-mail conformation letter to activate your account. You will not be able to reply or post until you confirm your account. If after a while you can't find your e-mail confirmation letter in your inbox, please double-check your spam box as it could mistakenly get lost there. Finally if you still after waiting do not receive your confirmation e-mail, you can Click here to be sent a new one.

No sleep makes for poor thinking. LOL :p

This corrects my typing error and lack of sleep.

Only problem I see is that this shows only on forum pages, not in CMS and other pages. Is there a way to make it visible on all pages?

Also, please include in CSS option to manually decide how wide is notice to users waiting email confirmation. Now I need to change it manually (I use pretty long text).

You could add this link: profile.php?do=editpassword It leads to options for changing email address, as some users give wrong email address and with this link they could change it and try confirm another one.

Anyway, pretty useful, especially if it will work on all pages.
