I had a couple of suggestions:

1. Add 'check version' and direct link support to the the plugin as it appears in the "plugins & products -> Manage Products" portion of the administration control panel.

2. Add a feature to forward the information to www.stopforumspam.com using their API key, etc. (perhaps you could piggyback with this addon? https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=230921)

is there a way easily ban and cleanup a spammer from the user profile? i can only access the ban option when the spammer makes a post.

EDIT: Whoa. When I installed this, it broke my forums. It was loading as a white page. When I disabled, it went back to normal. Uh. I am using 3.8.7

Seems to work on 4.1.10, but there was some conflicts with an anti-spam plugin before though, I forget which one off-hand. Also, there's a small display issue in drop menu when clicking user's name in thread. The little "person icon" is above the text for "One Touch Ban & Cleaner".. beside that, it seems to work pretty good.. xD

I've started getting blog spam. Does this take care of that too?

If you go to the blog spam and click on the username it should bring up the option. If you get one try it for us and see if it delete the blog as spam.

This isn't a spam catcher. It's just a spam cleaner. I have user infractions and reported posts going to a sub-forum called trash bin. That option is in your admin cp.

I read through his entire offering and no where could I find that it is susposed to appear in a user's profile.

Fact is, forcing us to wait until the spammer posts is kind of useless since vb4 already offers to remove all their posts if they do that. Really, that only means you're getting the added functionality of deleting their already-sent PMs with this mod. But none of our modern spammers have sent PMs anyway. A much larger problem today is the blog posts, CMS articles, and profile links - of which they could make thousands and you'll still have to deal with it manually.

oKay I put my reading glasses on it and found it, your right that he does say it's avaiable in the profile and it is not.

I still like it and so do my moderators. It does not work in the blogs I checked that myself yesterday. If you click on the user name in the blog it doesn't appear and your right my last couple of spammers posted blogs instead of threads.

Is there any way to set this up to remove profile details as well? A number of spammers register and put links & advertisements in their signatures or About Me areas.

No, as I just mentioned not 24 hours earlier. These you must delete manually.

Is it possible we can set the banned usergroup to simply hide their profile and blog posts? Has anyone tried that?

For those of you that want the ban link on user profiles you can do it manually, if the developer would like to include the insertion into the mod that would be good but until then you can do this :

Search for template : MEMBERINFO

In the template search for :
Directly under it paste :
Notice the red highlight above, they are the usergroups you wish to be able to see the link ( they can use the mod because it follows the mod rules BUT they can see the link.

Click save and your done. You will now see the One touch ban link under your private message link.

sorry are u saying u have error with the one i give u i use it on vb 4.2.0 without any problems so if u are getting errors from the one i give u then it could be another plugin making the error

As to the errors parts of the coding had / that was not needed this was causing errors when trying to install the plugin I also seen a lot of the text was missing and on the 3rd pic he has there I shortened that wording so it fits better and the option to delete posts from the blogs is not an option that will be added soon
