Why would anyone care about smilies looking like black people when the defaults ones don't look like any specific type of people?

It's called marching to the beat of a different drummer. Thinking outside the box. Individuality, not conformity. My site, like other site owners, is a reflection of my creativity and personality. So yeah, why would I want smilies just like everyone else? Boring. http://www.blackgamer.net/b/images/smilies/neutral.png

When your site specializes in black issues or topics, but without solemnity.

How do you know the yellow smilies arnt based on another race?

TheLastSuperman 10-18-2011 07:15 PM

Buying Christmas presents early... why are Legos so bloody expensive?? A $100 for a small playset? $399 for the Death Star that's 1/16th the scale... wow

BirdOPrey5 10-19-2011 10:15 AM

I used to have a 55 gallon drum full of Legos... when I got too old to play with them (in public) I gave them to my younger cousin... When he got too old my Aunt dragged the drum to be picked up as trash.

:( :( :(

So many memories.

Klingon smilies .... jim https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/10/7.gif

Lynne 10-19-2011 04:15 PM

We have all our boys legos in boxes in storage. Lots and lots and lots of legos....

BirdOPrey5 10-19-2011 04:32 PM

Legos are the best toys ever because you could make any other toy you wanted from them... I wonder if there's a Lego forum out there...

kh99 10-19-2011 10:40 PM

I remember when I was a kid and we visited my grandmother, my mother would stop at the store on the way and get me one of those small lego kits that made a car or something like that. I thought it was great that we got to go on a trip and I got a new toy, but I realize now she was just trying to keep me from trashing my grandmother's house because she knew a lego kit would keep me busy for hours.

TheLastSuperman 10-20-2011 06:16 PM

Same here Bird... two huge boxes full of them... traded to my younger cousin for some video games when I was 14'ish.

Lynne.... if they don't want them, I'll buy them for my son and pay for shipping unless you or your sons want to keep them... well the reason I say that is my wife calls me a hoarder... I call myself sentimental... there's a difference and we can walk through our house so it can't be that bad!

Legos are the best... I bet there is a forum Bird and I know there's Legoland overseas you knew about that right? http://www.legoland.com/ < And wow... I thought there was only 1 and overseas... that was from years ago but since then there's one in Cali/Florida and more... imo no matter what age that would be fun!

BirdOPrey5 10-20-2011 09:13 PM

I used to go to San Diego all the time and my biggest regret was not going to Legoland... Someone told me once that Legoland was, more than any other theme-park, only for kids- so I didn't want to be the old weird childless guy at the kids park. :(

FYI - Speaking of Legos...

I just got through reading about the Lego - the reason that it's so great is because it's use is only limited by your imagination :), being male the possibilities were endless but there came a time when i was building stuff i shouldn't (well according to my mum!).

It's 5:30 am here and i'm getting ready for leaving work at 7am but thanks to you guys talking about cookies i'm going to have to detour on the way home! - my wife calls me the cookie monster already! (and nope, i aint blue or got a big mouth and boggly eyes, errr well maybe i do :))

Digital Jedi 10-26-2011 01:59 AM

I still play with Legos. Just virtual ones.

I've got another one I still haven't finished of a land rover. (I really should have signed these, shouldn't I?)

Actually, I didn't know Lego had an official application. I actually use this: LeoCAD. Then I export the object file and give it the mood, scenery and textures in Bryce. And, of course, a little Photoshop touch up.

You can see the awesome AT-AT someone did with LeoCAD and 3DS Max. I have to try and finish my land rover pretty soon and give a Star Wars model a try. I get tons of inspiration from LeoCAD, but sometimes, all the ides start competing and I end doing nothing. For long periods of time. =/
