nice one for the update...

Ive installed.... one Weird thing .. .is that the "FADE" option only shows up on forum display ..it doesnt show up on the forum home page .. dont get why it doesnt

hey ..

yeh i have custom scripts ..flash n iframes on my forum home page... would these conflict?

Yap, I think so. You can test with fresh template with new style.
How : Create new style, if my modification work normal, maybe your have problem. If continue not work, patch level will be make.

Hi,

Works on a clean template and default template.... but not on my normal one ... any ideas for a fix?

This problem got from your custom code, maybe you want to send PM me with that code, I will test it on my board !

Well the scripts used are simple "object" for video player from ustream
and javascript for tabbed forum home (mod on here) and iframes

nothing really out of the ordinary

What happen with you ? Are you overwrite with old js file ?

yup i reuploaded the files ... overwritten the xml file ... changed the coding in the config file.. and did the exec what u said in the instructions.. yet nothing appears when I sent test pm's

First, you can try clear your browser cache, then, view js file (in your hosting) via browser, if have this line :

installing this mod is vb 4.0.3 but sidebar is not working....

Sorry men, I don't test it with vB 4.0.5 and before, so I really don't know what exactly happening to you.

A very nice mode indeed!

Installed, voted 5 stars and nominated.

One small issue for me is the scrolling or slideup or lined does not work for me. Do you know the issues are?

Opp, all test work normal, I think your bug affected by any custom scripts. Give me your forum link, I will see in live action !

    • Complete build basic features for : Notifications Popup
    • Will be supported with text variable like : {username}, {musername}, {userid}, {bbtitle},...
  • In version 1.0.6 Final
    • Add notifications type list for Notifications Popup : enable / disable notification by each type.
    • Add more text variables.
    • And, complete all the features in version 1.0.6 Beta 2.
Notice : I'm looking for any suggestions / requests to add into list above.

I'm working on new project and a update for this mods, I will use CSS instead of jQuery for Notifications Popup, so, when I complete all features for Notifications Popup, I will put it back to jQuery.

News and Announcements Basic : with some text variables following :
  1. {bbtitle} : Forum Name (in option : Site Name / URL / Contact Details) ; (new in v1.0.6 Beta 2)
  2. {bburl} : Forum URL (in option : Site Name / URL / Contact Details) ; (new in v1.0.6 Beta 2)
  3. {username} : User Name (non-markup with HTML) ; (new in v1.0.6 Beta 2)
  4. {musername} : User Name (markup with HTML) ; (new in v1.0.6 Beta 2)
  5. {userid} : User ID ; (new in v1.0.6 Beta 2)
  6. {sessionurl}, {sessionurl_q} : Replace for this session variable : {vb:raw session.sessionurl} and {vb:raw session.sessionurl_q} in URLs. (new in v1.0.6 Beta 2)

Thanks for the update again ..this is a really nice mod that gets better :)

The update fixed the notifications not showing on my forum home page...

1 minor problem is that the avatar doesn't show up .. it looks for:

http://www.*****.com/images/misc/avatar.png

which there is no such file ...

also how to change the font color for the username in the notifications pop up?
