So exactly how much is it for forum slider ultimate? With my site I am going to want to have more than slides appear and adjust the size and all that. So if you could just tell let me know what the cost is It would be appreciated.

ForumSlider costs as 59/month and comes with other premium mods and premium themes. You can cancel your membership at any time and still use them all as long as you want. So technically you can sign up for a month and get everything. I'm not allowed to say much about it here.

You can cancel after the first month and keep it forever.

If you look at the RSS feed, you need images to appear inside the rss feed for them to show up on the slider. See questions and answers.

What do you mean? You get all the modifications and themes for life for that price. They all still work after your membership is expired. It's better than paying for 1 modification for $59. We give everything for 1 price. The membership is for updates & support. It's really just a different pricing system. I can't discuss prices any further here.

I want shows only photos from X forums: example....i can select forum with ID 3, ID 5, ID 7 ......etc etc....?

You can combine RSS feeds from each of those forums using Feedburner.com or any of those sites that combine multiple RSS feeds into one. Then take that one rss feed and input it into forumslider.

We may also include that feature into future versions of the ultimate version.

Buying a membership for just one month, means that I will only be able to receive product updates during this month ? I can understand that I will not be able to take other styles or addons after this month but I think it would just be fair to receive the product updates a lifetime.

Again, I am just interested in the slider. Is there a stand alone price for this addon, which enables me to use updates unlimited ?

There is another important question I have. What about the german characters Ä, Ö, Ü. In the light version they are not displayed properly. Will this work fine in ultimate version.

Sounds good. There are alot of RSS combiners out there. Find one that works :)

Lifetime updates is not possible. I doubt their is any product out there that offers that. But Yes, if you get 1 month, you can download all the themes, products, and get updates withthin that time period at $59. A year come down the road, you can get all the updates if you want if you renew your subscription. It works well for both parties. I really can't talk much about it here.

You should be good to go now. VIP is added manually after verification.

I can see how to get images to appear in my rss feeds, i therefore only get the default image??

Do you have to have slides pulled from CMS? What if I wanted...say...3 slides pulled from CMS or even just 1, while other slides are custom made on my own? Is this possible? My content is basically announcements however, I don't want every announcement on my CMS as every announcement isn't as important as others just like I want the slider to show things that wouldn't normally be posted as content...say features of another area of the website

This doesn't seem customizable like how I want it, however if i is, I will happily pay the 60 dollars for the full version.

I've got a bug, this slider is now working ok but it prevents users from posting comments on the articles. If i remove it, they can post comments, if the slider is on the same page as the comment box i cant post comments.

Are the headlines appearing in your slider? Attachments do not qualify. Use BBCODE.


Slides ARE custom made because you choose what goes on your CMS. You choose the articles and you choose the content in your articles. If you take a look at BuyPoe.com, when your site gets larger, and articles are published almost 6-10 a day, you don't have time to create individual slte. Or you can create a private forum and post articles and images you want specifically to go in your slide. Just change the rss feed to point to that forum :)

So yes its fully customizable.

If your looking to take certain content from some areas and others, use an RSS combiner. There are websites such as feedburner that combine multiple RSS feeds into one.

And for number of RSS feeds all you use per RSS Feed:
CMS RSS Feed

Combine feeds of various sizes and you'll get what your looking for. :)

This is the lite version... its free!
When you download it, it tells you how to install. You'll upload everything that isn the Upload folder to your forum root.

The items in the Do Not Upload folder is where the installation instructions are located aswell as the widget code and xml file!

So what i did was correct , they are just bugs wich soon you will be fixing and release an update.

What would be neat is if this would work just anywhere. In the CMS, Forum, VBAdvance. Just anywhere you would want to put it in..

And this is a +1 for VBAdvance version.
