That tells me absolutely nothing. Also...

This is mainly for the default navbar. If you install this on a custom navbar, you may need to tweak the margins a little to get it working how you want it.

Aramist 05-14-2011 03:19 AM

user groups got reset after save.....

any clue.

HMBeaty 05-22-2011 01:57 AM

I'll be making another update to this later in the week. More cool features and a bugfix :)

You guys will love this next one :D

And btw, thank you. Haha, I found the bug for this :p. Not sure how I missed that...

BlessedFWI 05-22-2011 06:41 AM

Can't wait for the update. Installed and Five Stars!

I just checked using IE and I am having the exact same issue. :(

EDIT: I just upgraded my IE and now it is fine. DOH! :P

Thank you so much...this is really great!

Would there be a way to put it underneath the navigation bar like in the screenshot below? Not sure that it can be done but I thought I would ask. :)

Thanks!

TheLastSuperman 05-22-2011 06:09 PM

Hmm done this before via simple template edits however I like how you threw it together in a package and members can access and assign url's and padding too so marking as installed just for the effort ;).

raulin 05-22-2011 07:00 PM

installed worked

I'll see if I can add this in the upcoming version, along with possibly other placements

BlessedFWI 05-23-2011 12:44 AM

You rock...I can't wait! :D

theoutlawed 05-23-2011 03:23 AM

Simple and effective.. Bravo

BlueCheri 05-23-2011 04:04 AM

Installed, work very fine.

Thanx

Sharkyman 05-25-2011 12:26 PM

WTF am I doing wrong? Created a folder called usml_navnet in the images folder but when I enable it the bar is not finding the images. The rest works fine, e.g. the hover over and the links it's just not finding the images. Do I have to put the full Http:/etc into the settings in the control panel for the images?

Stumped.

Sharkyman 05-25-2011 12:32 PM

Ignore. Sorted it. I am an idiot.

I can reproduce it on old IE.

Just a quick update to let everyone know what's going on since I haven't released the next update yet, my laptop crashed on me a couple weeks ago and I just bought a new one today. Not sure what is going on with my other laptop, but I've replaced the hard drive and still haven't really made any progress as far as getting it fixed. So, I've basically lost everything :(

So, with that being said, might be a little longer before the next update is released. However, to fix the AdminCP usergroup options, edit the plugin which should be labeled with something to the effect of "(ACP Options)" and change parse_templates to admin_options_processing and that will fix that. Thanks for your patience :)

margin:-2px 4px 6px 10px

that is a shorthand margin property, which is great if you're setting each side differently. The sequence is clockwise from the top ? top, right, bottom, left. it something you could have found out yourself by using a search engine ;-)

installed. awesome mod! (and i'm a NooB so the ease of installation was greatly appreciated!) many thanks :)

I would be really interested in this. Have all the bugs been worked out that you had hoped for to release this? :D

Huh? This IS released...

CharlieDelta 07-04-2011 03:38 PM

Sorry I misunderstood. Sounded like you were working on a "style" to compliment this mod.

I am an idiot, I know.;):o

Updated to version 1.4.0 :)
Quote:

1.4.0 (07 JUL 2011):
- Optimized plugins to decrease memory usage
- Images updated
- Images now "light up" upon hover (adjustable in vBulletin Options)

mikemurphy 07-08-2011 01:32 AM

I get the following when installing this update to V 4.1.3

Did you upload all of the files to their correct directories?

mikemurphy 07-08-2011 02:00 AM

Of course I didn't :)

It's working now, great update. Thank you sir!

Jake99 07-08-2011 06:54 PM

I was also wondering how is this supposed to work with the images folder if there is already the images folder for vbuletin in the main directory??? I mean wouldnt that try and overwrite that??? Something's wrong with that.....

Did you upload all of the files to their correct directories? I'm going to say you more than likely didn't since you are receiving those errors.

Also, no, it will not overwrite the images directory of vbulletin

Krusty1231 07-09-2011 12:04 AM

Installed - very nice - thanks!

8thos 07-09-2011 12:38 AM

How do you make this available for only one skin?

That just gave me an idea for the next release :D

Anyway, there should be an if conditional posted around here somewhere for styleid settings. I'm not sure of what that one is off hand

8thos 07-09-2011 01:16 AM

Thanks man! Different skins require different padding.

Instead of doing the padding for all of em (which will end up being off)

I'd rather just regulate it to one skin.

HMBeaty 07-09-2011 07:59 PM

Updated to version 1.5.0 :D
Quote:

1.5.0 (09 JUL 2011):
- Updated installcode
- Added the option to exclude from certain styles

8thos 07-09-2011 08:09 PM

Awesome!

8thos 07-09-2011 08:27 PM

This awesome man thank you so much! I only use the twitter button.

I had to adjust the padding for my default skin. http://the8thlegion.com/forum.php

Looks really good! Hmmm. Is it it possible to replace one of your icons with an icon of our own?

Then change the name of the menu. Hmm. I will experiment when I get home from work.

Of course. Just upload your new image, and if needed, change the name of the image in the vbulletin options
