Not via an SQL query. I suppose a php script could be written to do the cleanup, certainly possible.

This has to end. Signature is a mess. Have been wiated for the update, but it has not been relased yet so I had to uninstall Tapatalk. Sorry.

That sig is creating way much more damage regarding content than it's really worth it.

It has already been released. If you see signature from users it probably they have yet to update the app from the app store / market :)

I would not install tptlk anymore even if you piad me to.

What is the exact wording (copy and paste the text here) that you are seeing as Tapatalk signatures?

I've started to see different sigs without the word "Tapatalk" in them, I want to know if this is the case.

1 you add the image to generic smilies with the replacement name :iphone:
2 change siggy in your iphone to :iphone: sent via iphone

lol works and takes five minutes :)

"sent via iphone" is not the default signature, it's something custom and therefore would not work with this mod.

This mod only removes signatures of the format:

Sent from my XXX using Tapatalk

Where XXX is the device name.

That definitely should be picked up and removed by this mod, I just tested it. Are you sure the mod is enabled in the mod options? (Admin CP -> Options -> Tapatalk Sig Remover by BOP5 -> Enable Product -> Yes.)

If so there must be another mod interfering with this one but I can't think of how.

Hi BirdofPrey - great mod...working perfectly for me. I used your substitute .gif and like it. Only issue I'm having is a couple of my members are using Tapatalk 2 (think it's a beta release?). So the substitute ends up looking like:

Can you please "Mark as Installed" - that would be the biggest thanks. :)

As for moving the location- no- this simply finds the text in the post and removes it. It wouldn't be possible with this mod to move the location.

I am kind if surprised anyone still uses this mod though- it was created back when Tapatalk didn't give the option of disabling the "Sent By" message - Now they do- All admins can go to their Tapatalk control panel and disable the "Sent by" message from there for all new posts.

This modification is not required for "Tapatalk 2" and "Tapatalk 4" You can Disable Tapatalk signature via Tapatalk Forum Owner Area.

maybe the bop5tt_en option isn't being set properly? We're using VB 4.2.0.

That is the part that checks if you enabled the plugin in the mod settings.

Do you enable the mod in the mod settings? (Set it to "Yes" ?)

Yes, it was set to yes. Enabled and still not working until we removed that part.
