No matter what I do I can't find the link in the admin to send a mass pm :( I've installed, re-installed, followed tips in this thread, but it just won't show up.

Edit: Un-installed, then re-installed again and now it's showing up :)

What folder should I be uploading the pm.php file to? Is it straight to the Admin directory, or somewhere else?

You have to upload it to the acp folder. By default it is admincp.

Thanks ForumsMods, I've installed it there but the "Send PM" option still isn't showing up in the "Users" menu. I can't find any of the files mentioned by Mr Morningstarr in post #34, so unfortunately I don't know what the issue is.

I installed this mod. When it is enabled, the Users field in the admin cp disappears. When I disable the mod, the Users field comes back. I have 4.1.5

Any help?

Sounds like you have another mod messing with it.

Mine stops when it gets to the 500 and doesn't continue. Anyone else experiencing that? vb4.1.5 pl1

I set mine up to PM 50 at a time and it works fine.

Maybe that's why it also crashed my server and maxed out my 3GB RAM.

I was able to send 500 at a time with the old Yet ANother Mass....blah blah.

I'm not sure whether to try again or just go back to the old one.

Are there any restrictons on which bbcodes can/can't be used? Some messages I send just don't go through (even though it looks like they're being sent)

Also is there a restriction on message length, and how do I increase it?. Longer messages don't seem to get sent for some reason.

One feature request, could an optional pause be put in after each batch of PMs are sent? On my site we use this mod to send PMs to thousands of members and this causes high server load and unresponsiveness during the sending process. I hacked the script on my site to pause for 10 seconds after each batch and the server was much happier.

When I uninstalled this hack, because I couldn't get it to work, I spotted another .xml file in the includes folder. This mod uses a file called cpnav_mass_pm.xml, and I had another file called cpnav_masspm.xml already in the includes folder.

After I deleted both of those files and reinstalled this mod it started working.

I uploaded the files and imported the XML file but I do not see "Send PM to Users" under "Users"

Did anyone else get this issue? Please let me know how to fix this
