Thank you.
Soon will release for blog and articles, moderators will be able to move blog entries and articles to a 'recycle bin' category.

RK KINGKONG 01-23-2011 02:45 AM

WHAT exactly does this do , i mean i dont know much so to me this isnt a stupid question what recycle bin lol , dont they go into like archive when they are like closed or what not or very old .. ?

ZEHH 01-23-2011 02:59 AM

That would not be the same function of removing physically?

RK KINGKONG 01-23-2011 03:26 AM

Ok why not just delete them ?? cant you just delete them and it would do the same ....well I have an issue due to a mod that wasnt working properly i have a ton of forum threads to a forum name /id that doesnt exist , the birhtday mod that made a thread on ppls birthday etc ... wel i went to admin cp to Remove Orphan Threads/This function removes all threads that belong to forums that no longer exist. but that didnt work . it wont even let me access it to delete them . DO you think this might do the trick ??

you need to make that section

tidus78 12-07-2011 12:09 AM

I have the section, mod is installed correctly and I have options to move in recycle bin but...there aren't settings in my ACP general options :confused:

Gemma 12-07-2011 12:32 AM

You need to create a forum and call it something like 'Recycle Bin' then set it up to point to that in AdminCP > Settings > General Settings

tidus78 12-07-2011 06:35 PM

I don't see settings in AdminCP > Settings > General Settings.....there aren't

Gemma 12-07-2011 07:43 PM

AdminCP > Settings > Options > General Settings

There should be an option at the bottom

Recycle Bin Forum
Select the forum where you want to to move "recycled" threads

tidus78 12-07-2011 09:33 PM

It's incredible I don't see this option.....there isn't.... any idea?

datoneer 12-09-2011 01:06 PM

hazem_aliraqi 12-09-2011 02:06 PM

tidus78 12-09-2011 04:13 PM

Uninstalled,there aren't setting options in my 4.1.8.

Boofo 12-09-2011 04:35 PM

Wrong! I see the setting fine in 4.1.8. Under "Options -> General Settings" at the very bottom, I see:

I have a lot of mod installed, all of them have options in general settings but this one doesn't appear....Which problem I have?

EDIT

Uninstalled and installed again...now it works thanks!

COBRAws 12-15-2011 05:47 PM

Can you make it so we can config each forum to have its own recycle, if none selected, just sent to default recycle? Like the old vbrecycle.

Thanks!!

The developer, has said in his other mods, they will not update the mods to vB5 till it stabilizes, and then it is still iffy.

Powerlynx 04-02-2014 04:28 AM

I'm going to need some help with this cause I just accidentally deleted a big thread, but still have it in my backups mysql database file but need some code help. There is no photos in the thread, no polls taken, no attachments whatsoever, only posts which should make this easier I assume?
