Seems I found another Bug. The user pictures in every threads are realy big now and it seems, they are streched? Dont now the right english word. Much bigger as the original picture and I can see pixels.

Edit:
Can it be that the font of subforums are much bigger on forum-home too?

It appears to be a simple typo. Goto your Admin CP and then "Search in Templates", then search for "postbit_legacy" and be sure to change "Search Titles Only" to "Yes" then click search.

Then it will find the "postbit_legacy" template, double click it and then in the "Search in Template" field enter in "min-width" and click "Find". It will take you to the image tags used for displaying a user's avatar, and then where it says "min-width: 120px;", change it to "max-width: 120px;", basically changing "min" to "max". Save it and you're all set.

The typo was basically forcing all avatars to have a minimum width of 120px, which is far larger than most avatars are, so it caused them to be scaled up and not look right.

Remember to do the same thing for the other colors of this theme, if you use them.

caillean 10-12-2010 06:37 PM

much better, thanks

were can i change this big sub-forum font to a smaler one on the forum home?

wowheadtooltips 10-12-2010 06:38 PM

So after looking at my forums I decided that I didn't really like the way the icon for forums that act as links looked. They used the color of the new post icon, and I thought they should use the color of the old post icon, so I fired up photoshop and tweaked it to my liking. I think they turned out well, you guys are all welcome to use them.

Could you add CMS support for this styles?

mauro269 10-17-2010 04:18 PM

Hi, you've made a great theme. I would like to know how can I align just a bit on the right the "LAST POST" words. In this way it should looks more aligned with last posts titles.
Thanks

going to admincp > Search in Templates >

you find :
Quote:

width: 30%;
Replace :
Quote:

width: 25%;
find more:

Quote:

.forumbit_nopost .forumhead .forumtitle {
font-size: {vb:stylevar font.fontSize};
min-width: 70%;
Edit 70% = 75%

EDIT: Found it in the loginbox between the h2 tags...

For those that were wondering how to do this:
  1. Open ./styles/nsvip/loginbox/index.php via FTP/Editor.
  2. Find:
    Code:

              <h2>Wellcome to forum Nam S?ch</h2>
  3. Replace with whatever you want.
  4. Reupload the new version to your site, making sure to overwrite.

mauro269 11-10-2010 10:21 AM

Hi my friend. I've a little problem with the central tab shown in the forum homepage (you can see the attached image)....I need to enlarge it. What should I have to modify? Thanks for your help :)

http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/4302/enlargetab.png

mauro269 11-10-2010 04:21 PM

I've found also some bugs that are too much important and, in my opinion, it's important to solve it:

1. When users do the log and click "remember me", seems that the forum isn't able to save the users login details (it's not a forum problem, because before I had the vbulletin base theme and I hadn't this issue)

2. When you click on Login and the pop up window is shown, if I try to click on "Help?" or "Have you lost your password?", they send me on the forum homepage (links are the same and equal to "forum.mydomain.com/#")

3. The SEND PM icon under the users avatar doesn't work. If I click it, it sends me on the forum homepage

4. I've a problem with buttons alignment inner the discussions. How can I solve it? http://img585.imageshack.us/img585/5...1110a19125.png

This is a great theme that I want to continue to use for my forum and I hope you can help me to solve it. Thanks for all. :)

It looks a lot better...but there still seems to be a lot of issues to be resolved.

The sidebox on the forum home is not displaying correctly. See attached:

Another .css issue?

I've not experienced this so far. Seems to be working ok for me...but I will update if it isn't.

Confirmed bug.

Confirmed bug.

The "Add as friend" button sends a PM.

The Send PM" button takes you to forum home.

Looks fine on my board.

I do however, have a problem with the side bar (see above) and the profile pages. It's the same problem a previous poster above has.

apokphp 11-19-2010 02:21 AM

Beautiful style and ideas....but it's definitely broken in 4.0.8.

Have to uninstall. Hope to see it updated soon though.

tomarsyd 12-01-2010 11:45 AM

Installed and rated highly. Love the look. However...

I have confirmed that the "Forgot your password?" and the "Help" links on the login window do NOT work. They simply redirect to the forum home page. I have not observed the other errors mentioned above.

PrevBB, will you be updating this?

I have a question did you get permission from the owner of skinbox to copy his theme for vbulletin since his themes are copyrighted?

Deimos 12-04-2010 03:51 PM

I thought the skin looked familiar.
