I did "backported" version at vb3, but it's quite ugly, and not supported anymore. It was done 2 months before my forum upgrade, and i decided to not publish it at vborg. If you are shure in your programming skills, you can use those source: http://github.com/rcdesign/vb-iquote_vb3_backport

What do you mean? All links are clicked with right left button, as far as i know.

Fantastic mod! Tweaked the backported version a bit to style using the older vbmenu popups, and it looks great!

If your patch is better, you can commit those, and release for 3.8.4, sinse i'm unable to support both versions (that's why all my mods are marked as reuseable)

Context menu with right click is ok for me. Please, provide detailed description, what's your problem with and how to reproduce it. I can't understand you now.

This is a great plugin, but causes a massive lag/usage on the browser. Multiple people has reported this.. Selecting quotes and typing is very very laggy.

I'm not shure, that it's iquote problem. Had such effect sometime, even if used "reply with quote" button. Don't know causes.

If you know, how to safely reproduce those lags - let me know.

Try to select text over and over again within threads (try firefox), it seems to be causing quite a few lags. The typing lag happens randomly, and not always.

1. Such description is not good for bugreport.
2. You have no evidence, that lags are causer by iquote.

I have no evidence? I talked to multiple people and they all had the same issue. When I disabled the Iquote, the lagging suddenly stopped.. Even for me.

This should be included in vb default.

I mean, you can call editor with "quick reply" button. And delay can also happen. I agree, that there CAN be some problems, but your despription doesn't point, that those are 100% related to iquote, and are difficult to reproduce.

If you have time - try latest version from here http://github.com/rcdesign/vb-iquote. May be, it will make difference. There were too many refactoring, to explain details. Just try.

Well, not to rain on anyone's parade, but we have 13,000+ members and since installing this mod and having used it extensively, we've had NO complaints whatsoever and I see NO lags testing with Safari, IE and Firefox .... :confused:

I'm not sure I even understand how it could affect a browser that much to create such poor performance and lagging, but I'm not a programmer.

Using it with 4.04pl1 ...

Working with 4.1 but with IE the popup menu is wrong placed and the background is transparent...
