Try editing the template that ends with _purchasebit and remove the /gifts bit from the URL of the image.

It's a known issue that'll be corrected in the next version :)

just a bit confused: maybe in wrong webware add on. Anyhow, in the VBshop, I would like to create images/gifs for members to get for themselves and to give to others.... 1) which -all-webproduct do I need to accomplish this??? and 2) would like, as an admin to choice the gif/image placement, for example, I would like to show image/gif in recipient members signature box for a limited time... Does this webproduct [lite or pro or both] do this????

1) I'm not sure I understand the question, but the Pro version allows members to gift items while purchasing them :)

2) Showing gift images in the signature is currently not possible, sorry :(

can't seem to get the lottery to work. I can add the ticket, but not sure how to start the lottery. I set the dates, but nothing happens.

Lotteries start automatically when you add the lottery itself based on the creation date :)

I'm confused. I plan on installing the vbcredits deluxe or whatever its called from here so i can use vbshop. I am currently using vbcommerce (Darks old stuff). Do I need to uninstall commerce before installing vbshop?

  Those of you interested in selling real-world items should find this a welcome change - you can now have a "special" currency that can only be used for purchasing your special items.
• "Custom Field" Items (w/ purchase notification)
  A new item type has been added, "Custom Item", which in the Lite version is used to house the previous "Gift" items that have no actual functionality. You can be notified when someone buys the item.
• Revamped Shop Layout
  One of the main problems of vBShop v1 was that the layout wasn't exactly stellar, and having Gifts and Items separate was confusing to members. Both these problems have been corrected for v2.
  The layout uses AJAX for adding items to the shopping cart.
• Revamped Purchase Process
  It is now possible to buy more than one item in one go, via the use of a shopping cart. For that reason, we've split the "configuration" from the "purchase" process.
  What this means is, say a member buys "Username Change". Upon completion of their purchase, they will be redirected to their inventory, where they can click "Configure" for the newly purchased item. This is the page that lets them actually change their username.
  The main reason why we implemented this change is that it is now possible to set items to be re-usable. To follow up on the above example, a member may use the item to change their usernames multiple times (either infinitely, or until the item expires.)
• Stock
  Each individual shop can have its own individual stock (and price / currency) of an item.

The following features are missing from vBShop v1.x and will be restored over the course of the next couple weeks:

• Lotteries
  • No data from existing lotteries will be carried over to the final incarnation of vBShop 2.0 lotteries due to the vast differences in data storage and functionality.

Virtual shop only, but as of v2.0 we support multiple virtual currencies, so you could use a dedicated points mod like vBCredits II Deluxe - which has support for buying virtual currency for real money - and charge people in that currency.

Hello Fillip,

Could you tell me if it would be possible to add avatars to the shop? So once they buy them with there points, they're able to use them. Allthough, they should only be able to use those bought avatars.

For example: they have bought avatar 1 , 2 & 3 in the shop. They can now select one of these to use them as an avatar.

Would this be possible?

And would it be possible to make a lottery where they select only one winner every week? (not based on X numbers correct)

For example: members have bought 1000 lottery tickets, one of these will be randomly chosen. They have a code from ticket 1 till 1000, and ticket 776 has won this week, then there would stand: "congratulations (member name) , you have won ...."

I use the lite version now, but I can't really seem a way to get this to work.

Would I be able to do this with the pro version? Or is there any other mod that would be capable of achieving this?
