Theck the encodement of the file.

Download again, open files in textpad or other tool, check if encodement is the same as your forum uses.

Give us a link to your site and a test user, then maybe somone can help you m8

It works perfectly but at the end of the similar threads lines I have the following line

"Error in my_thread_global_end(): 1 threads didn't exit "

how to fix that??

i tried to change "<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>" in the hack file to "windows-1256" as my forum language (encode) but the same problem

This really is superb, but the alternating colors of the found similar threads is creating havoc in my styles. What stylevars do I alter, or what code in the product.xml file, so that I keep one background color? (and what stylevars would that be?)

Excellent hack. Should be a "must have" in every vb install.

Great mod but... it does not work with words in Greek.
It does work perfectly with words in English.

Any ideas?

what type of overhead does this require? I'd imagine it's running several full searches for each title? Does 'similar threads' need to be enabled?

With 4.0.3 works great if your language is English.
With other languages, eg. Greek, does not work even if you change "ISO-8859-1" in the xml file to "ISO-8859-7".

Am I doing something wrong?

Hmm the "Coder" is suspended, so there will be no more update for this mod ;) and.... its just working for english boards, if u are using another language u will have problems. Better keep the hands off this mod

I like this a lot but one problem... I have a dark theme and this looks like it was written for a light one. How can I change the background color on the boxes that show up?

This is a nice mod, however, I find that it does not work as well as "VSa - Check If Already Posted", which is a shame, because I like yours alot better because it uses ajax.

Is it possible for you to improve this mod so that it shows better results?
