Only two big issues. First is the commas after forum name in Internet Explorer. Firefox and Chrome do not show the comma. Second Issue is with alignment of columns from one sub forum to the next as PinoyRepublic pointed out earlier.

For future, it would be reallllly nice if we can choose how many columns for each individual sub forum.

Thanks!

Yes, this would be great or is it possible by changing the css for the table?

Hm, when I was looking on my webpage by using IE8 the distance between two subforums (horizontally) all looks good, the spece between is enough, but not when using FF 3.6. What could be the reason?

Just curious, why you would like to hide them?

It's useful to view posting status, and mark forum as read.

Its just curious that ...anyway. was an Idea to get a cleaner view. but anyway

Alexandre.R 03-14-2010 04:07 PM

Thanks, much better than all the other Sub-Forum plugins.
Great work again man... you are the best, all your plugins are kick ass.

Popa Andrei 03-14-2010 08:11 PM

can you make that subforum that are categories not to be shown?

juan71287 03-15-2010 03:03 PM

Is there any way to include threads of sub-sub-forums to the threadcount of sub-forum ? :D

For example:
Quote:

Category 1
- Forum 1
-- Subforum 1 (40 threads in it)
--- Sub-Subforum (5 threads in it)
So on forums-index the thread count of "Subforum 1" should be "45 threads".

Thanks in advance for your help!

NFLfbJunkie 03-20-2010 03:57 PM

Putting a line between the sub-forums (for me) spaces them out too much. Is there a way with the CSS -1 Table setting to better control the spacing of the rows?

NFLfbJunkie 03-20-2010 04:06 PM

Just figured it out. I put height:70px; as the CSS-1 Table setting.

mandingo 03-20-2010 04:59 PM

Can't seem to get the excluded forums to not change styling,I only wanted it for one set of forum/sub-forums.

rmxs 03-21-2010 06:05 PM

i have select Hide "Sub-Forums:" above list YES

and at one forum the sub-forums appears..
why this happens?

nkumaran 03-27-2010 12:06 PM

Thank you.

nocte 04-03-2010 02:55 PM

i haven noticed that when Post/Thrad Count are displayed, the SEO-Urls (im using the mod_rewrite method), get these information added.

Valter 04-03-2010 07:55 PM

v3.0.1 - Apr 03. 2010.
-Fixed bug where 'Sub-Forums:' is not hidden in some blocks

To upgrade:
-Import XML, allow overwrite

deadbolt80 04-05-2010 12:23 PM

Pardon my ignorance... I installed this mod but I can't seem to be able to create sub-forums. I've tried numerous times, but still can't figure out how to create them.

Any help would be appreciated it.

Thank you.

Is there a way to make it so that is shows the most recent thread like the older versions.

stwan 04-10-2010 06:29 AM

Not Valid

Neptun 04-11-2010 01:48 PM

i have commas (,) between the forum list - how can i put this away ?! i doesnt look like as in you screen shoot above in the product description

Valter 04-11-2010 01:58 PM

There are commas in IE, but not in other browsers. Not sure why...

famouszor 04-12-2010 06:41 PM

Not sure why it's not working (showing).

I have done:

To get this product working you must set "Depth of Sub-Forums" to "1" in vBulletin Options > Forum Listings Display Options
-To set product options go to: AdminCP > vBulletin Options > VSa - Sub-Forum Manager

Screen Shot:

Depth of Sub-Forums

Sub-Forum Manager

My Forum View

I'm running VB 4.0.3
VSa - Sub-Forum Manager 3.0.1

Did I do something wrong?

Thanks for the help.

Valter 04-12-2010 07:23 PM

You have no subforums created.

You have only 1 category and 4 forums.

famouszor 04-12-2010 10:53 PM

Thank you.

It makes since now.

That's too bad. The commas look amateurish to my eyes and we're still living in a world where 70% of people are using IE.

Vaupell 04-13-2010 03:48 PM

Sub-Forums: <-- text appears ewen after hide enabled..

Link with issue : http://www.lokal-samfundet.dk/forum.php

Problem, after installing the Auto thread tagger
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=234026

this started, so possible some interference between those two mods.

AliMadkour 04-20-2010 11:26 AM

thanks

but every forum name has VSa at its link ????

Uh-huh... and that affects your visitors' and members' experience how? Are you getting complaints from your members about this?

fluidswork 04-27-2010 02:46 AM

washingtonboise 05-06-2010 12:33 PM

It would be great to see some screen shots demonstrating the difference between this and the other sub forum managers.

Valter 05-06-2010 06:04 PM

You don't need to compare them as this one is the best.

:D
