I had 6 threads created on my forum between 11 and 1125pm LAST NIGHT.

3 threads for each day. There is totally something wrong with this update. My server time is completely different than the time I use on my forum. I use MST for my forum but my server is hosted in California.

See screen shot.
This was working PERFECTLY before I upgraded.

[edit] It actually created 7 threads --- I am deleting all but the one people are replying to. The one I didn't notice actually did go at Midnight. [/edit]

Is it possible to upload the previous version because that one worked perfect.

voglermc 02-28-2010 09:27 PM

Yeah I know what you mean. A lot of my forum people are a-holes and are always criticizing my every change on my board. Jerks.

LbR 03-01-2010 06:57 PM

Thanks a bunch :)

SemperFideles 03-01-2010 09:07 PM

Valter,

Things were working well for me with v2.0.0 and when I upgraded to v2.0.2 everything went crazy with the multiple entries being created. Could you please put the v2.0.0 back up as a downloadable XML so I can downgrade as I foolishly deleted the older version.

Valter 03-01-2010 10:15 PM

v2.0.3 - Mar 02 2010.
-Hopefully fixed known bugs with multiple threads and mktime errors

To upgrade:
-Import product XML, allow overwrite

utahraves 03-01-2010 10:23 PM

Thanks Valter -- I'll let you know if I experience any more additional threads.

Valter 03-01-2010 10:43 PM

Yes, please report any additional bugs you discover.

Jonluci 03-01-2010 11:56 PM

Multiple threads are still created for me :(
using 2.0.3

utahraves 03-02-2010 04:11 AM

My server time is set to California time, I am Mountain time and so is my forum (Utah based).
I just had a thread created at 11:05 PM --- worried about multiple threads being created while I am asleep.

+1 on the countless birthday threads.

It's comforting, but more annoying.

HansMuenchen 03-06-2010 04:38 AM

Hello,

I see now that the addon don't create threads for people who have birthday.
Can it maybe changed so that a VB task will be generated to create the birthday threads?
Since I have now 2.0.3 installed the Threads will be not created anymore.

Thnx for the help
Hans

Valter, I would like to request that in a future release, it will be possible to link the username that is put into the automated system to the users profile on the site.

Great, could you put some code that close the thread after "X" answers from other users? than it would be perfect.

akvaryumforum 03-21-2010 01:51 PM

It starts to make the threads in random time in the day?

This is happening to me also. Birthday greetings for the day are posted 19 hours late at 7:00PM.

Charlie98902 03-22-2010 01:16 PM

How can we set the cron to post this shortly after mid-night instead of posting at 5,6,7,8,9,10pm at night when it is the end of the day?
