thanks for this mod
|
Thanks, work like a charm (and you can send messages to moderators).
Dont forget to edit error_postcount_too_low_pm if you have non English forum. As a improvement you can ad a link to this error message if needed to translate in the admin cp near the settings. |
I've just installed this mod on vbulletin 4.1.2
And enabled (set to yes) in admincp kept postcount limit 5.. but users with even 0 posts can send pm.. solution? ========== any option so that users with less than "x" no of posts cant send pm to anyone except admin & moderators usergroup. |
I've installed this into the includes/xml folder, went to settings > options > Private messaging.... don't see anything there that wasn't there before. Help! sounds like a good mod, i'm trying to instal another that a user has to have X amount of post before they can use I URL's in the forum, that's not working either... err im new at this

Ah, yes it does work in 4.1.3, I hadn't enabled it, the option above the minimum posts is whether or not to turn this on...
:D |

Go to your Private Messaging Settings in your Options in Admin CP, set the number minimum, click on "yes" to enable it... It works. |
Thanks

i think it works with vb 4.1.3 pretty well
|
thanks for this mod, marked as installed =)
|
Thanks for this :)
|
Installed very useful imrpoved posting at a very good rate. It stopped new members from pm'ing staff for help. Now they post, and once they get the hang of posting they are staying more active members...
|
Does it still work on 4.1.8?
|
Is there any way to exclude just one member (admin) from this, that is if new user wants to contact admin due to some problem...?
Thanks |

Love this mod. Installed and rated. Thank you.
|
Installed and working great on vB4.1.2
Rated 5* too. |
I'm using 4.2.0 and the staff option doesn't seem to work. I have 4 staff usergroups and I listed them separated by commas. Does staff option allow just one usergroup?
Thank you! |

Figured it out. It does only work for 1 usergroup. I added other staff usergroup to same staff usergroup as a secondary usergroup and all is good now!
|
Thank you @developer for this..
but , the error message will be good if it come before typing matter in private message.. it is coming while sending... can you try to make it. "when some on clicks on send private message " the error needs to show.. that will be good in my opinion, because of after typing some message , then user sees error.. that will be irritating |
Working Great in VB 4.2.0 Thanks

What is the purpose of this forum if the thread starter has posted the update only on his "inactive" forum ?
Anyone has the update of this plugin that contain the option to allow PMs to staff members if user has below X posts? |

Ist it possible to also block the new members from receiving PMs?
