My admin section looked normal.
On my forum, instead of have the nav bar, the links where on the left side.
It was as if I had no CSS file at all.
I reverted the one file that was edited.
Still bad. Couldn't be a cache problem because it was bad on another computer.
I deleted all the files, uploaded my live files to my test site.
Site still not working. Or rather the style was not working. Links along the left side.
It wasn't until I restored my database then it was working again.
I know, it makes no sense.
But that's what happened and I'm sticking to it. :)

After updating my test site to 4.0.1, I'll try it again.

jandb 01-11-2010 03:01 AM

Do you need to upload the contents of the folders into those on your root or just the mobiquo to the root?

I did just the mobiquo into my root. Ont the website it still says not installed.
My website is

We have updated the MOD to 0.9.2 (third version since we released it 10 days ago). Please update it if you have a chance. We expect to do few more round of updates before switching it to full version and with full support.

Apology as it as a copy and paste from our vb3.8 mod page. This feature will be available in next week or so. Hopefully in next update you will be able to test this feature.

* just edited the description *

Cheers!

Hello,

I just installed this mod. Verified installation which was fine. Added site to Tapatalk. When I enter the site via Tapatalk on my iPhone I am able to see the website, connect to it, and drill down into my forums. But, when I try to access a particular forum I am seeing the following error in a pop-up box:

Network Error - If this problem persists, your account may have pending actions that require a standard web browser to perform. Otherwise please contact your forum administrator.

If I'm in as unregistered I have a choice of Retry or Cancel buttons. If I'm in as registered I have a choice of Retry or Logoff buttons.

Using 4.0 CMS for my website, which is Scan New England . I was able at one point to log in and view new posts, but when I tried to enter a particular forum the above occurred.

Neat mod, just hoping I can make this problem go away before I release it to the general public. Thanks.

kalliey 01-12-2010 10:34 PM

Hey scott, are you able to PM me a test account to your forum and we will go look into it?

Much appreciated.. This is an annoying bug (not any security / performance issue) and that's why this MOD is still in beta.

I also notice your message in our forum ticket system and we will go look into it. Cheers.

Scan Cape Cod 01-12-2010 11:34 PM

PM sent. Thanks.

yellowpeter 01-13-2010 01:43 AM

I only get this when trying to access a part of the forum that is hidden from reg members.

I thought that was the one I installed. Are you saying 0.9.2 offers a "cure" for my "ailment", or was that just a general statement? :D

yellowpeter 01-13-2010 05:05 AM

No it doesn't have your fix. We did, however just fixed your issue and will release a new one pretty soon!

We are going to update the error message to be more informative such as "Access Denied" etc.

yellowpeter 01-14-2010 01:33 AM

We have released another round of Tapatalk for Nokia app update and is now available at http://www.tapatalk.com/nokia/tapatalk.dm

If you have previously installed the older version, you need to first remove it from the device and reinstall by pointing your nokia browser to the aforementioned URL.

Let us know if you hit into any problem.

yellowpeter 01-14-2010 07:11 AM

Just updated the MOD after many hours of work - it fixed a lot of bugs and most importantly now Image Upload is supported! Please give it a test at your site and if you hit into any trouble please post it here.

Ocean-Wonders 01-14-2010 10:36 AM

Briliant !

Works like a dream

Thanks very much + Nominated !

Scan Cape Cod 01-14-2010 01:23 PM

Thanks for the fix. Working very well with my forums. The only issue I see is the private message section, which advises me:

This forum has an older version of Tapatalk and does not support this function, please contact your forum administrator.
The admin is of course me. :D

Other than that so far so good. Thanks.

If you don't mind please visit tapatalk.com/forum to open a ticket, looks like it can't be fixed in next day or two.

Small issue:

Under Who's Online, when users are using this app they show as:
Quote:

Unknown Location
/mobiquo/mobiquo.php
It would be nice if this could be updated to something a bit prettier.

This issue has been addressed by installing a small plugin one of the vb.org member created. i.e. MOD for the MOD :D

http://www.tapatalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28

Oh wait, it haven't been tested on vb4.0. only in 37/3.8 though..

Trumpetrhapsody 01-19-2010 12:14 AM

Yeah I could do this manually or use a mod, but my question was if this could be addressed in the next update.

I'd rather not fix it manually, then have to go undo it when/if you start supporting it via the mod.

yellowpeter 01-19-2010 04:12 AM

Good point. So far the reason we didn't include as part of the release is we don't want to make one extra step of installation and make to it an optional.

I anticipate in future we will be able to include this - I am also asking the fellow if someone can make one for vb4.0.

Cheers
