Noticed that in the acceptance email to new members a variable is not filled:

This is (part of) what they see in the email:

The forums can be found here:
{1}
Can I fix this somewhere?

Other than that, great mod.

Thanks! :)

Solved: I edited my phrases, and changed the {1} variable to "$vboptions[bburl]".

Not sure why {1} is not working though. Any ideas?

Cheers.

Hey,

We have this fantastic plugin on our forum, one small issue with it though is when a new user appears in the notifications menu, if clicked on, it is directing you to /moderate_users.php, not /modcp/moderate_users.php.

I have checked the code in the plugin and it is calling $modcpdir correctly (afaik) and modcpdir is set in config.php to modcp, so the link should be http://www.holdencommodoreclub.com.a...hp?do=moderate but is returning http://www.holdencommodoreclub.com.a...hp?do=moderate

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Andrew

My apologies about the above post, I have fixed this now. Our forum was running an old version of your plugin. I have only just taken over as administrator, so did not realise.

Cheers,

Andrew

As much as I'm loathe to bother you with this Mosh I've come across a problem..

I've been using the hack since 4.0.0 upwards - through probably about 5 upgrades with absolutely no problems at all, until I updated to 4.1.10 last night.

The hack is still working as I can manually call it from URL, the notifications though are not.

I know notifications are working OK as I also run other hacks which make notification entries, all of which are working fine.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled both the PHP and XML, set the notifications to on in the AdminCP options for the hack, but still nothing.

Any idea?

Thanks v. much

Grim.

Grimster 02-21-2012 08:33 PM

Found the problem - that was quick right?

Incompatability with: DragonByte Tech: Advanced Post Thanks / Like (Lite) Even with its notifications switched off - it must exclude all other hooks.

I shall be uninstalling that inferior hack :P

Thanks.

Been looking for something like this. I must search more thoroughly in the future :o

poita 05-31-2012 12:36 PM

Have installed this, absolutely perfect mod.

Well except for one thing, in the first picture it shows the notification "x users awaiting moderation"

My admin are not receiving this message. I have this switched on, have tried un-install re-install, turn on/off and still no change.

Any help would be appreciated.

Pure Dope 07-28-2012 10:44 PM

You did both parts of Step 3 and set the Enable Notification option in Step 4 of the install instructions? As it worked fine for me when I tested on vBulletin 4.2 installation just a few minutes ago.

Pure Dope 07-29-2012 12:18 AM

^ thought i did. sorry. thx.

It would be smashing if you could add custom field (of users choice) to the verification part.
On my forums I use a custom field for real-name, and if this was shown it would be so much easier to sort out the bots.

Is it possible to add this?

Possibly .... but am not really interested in adding it at this time, sorry :( I may be interested in the future, so will add it to the list.

Anyone else have this conflict? I just went to vb4 over the weekend and the thanks mod was removed. The users want it back and want a like button. Dragon Byte was the only one I found that did both. So far that is..

Is there a way to give permissions to edit the user profiles by Moderators and Or Super Moderators?
Please Help.
Thanks in advance.

The_Hawk 09-26-2014 08:18 PM

Is there any way to add an extra column of information to the table?

I have a custom field called "Real Name" which is a half decent indicator of spammers since most will provide a full "First Last" sort of name vs normal users who are lucky to put in much of anything.

In any case, I would like to extract and display field6 from the userfield table and display it on the user_moderation page. Is this easy?? Possible?

giaguaro 01-30-2015 01:50 PM

is anyone still there? i would like to install on 4.2 and need some info
