Downloaded and installed to test on RC-4.

Redownloaded installed, and runs fine on rc 4 with all hook locations back.

just re-installed the product, overwriting the old one and it works again.

i have read the instructions, but i cant find the option to set myself as the user of this hack in the admin usergroup permissions.

what should be done?

I've installed this, and the option to log in as someone else shows up on ACP, but not in their profile on the 'normal' forum as per the instructions.

I'm running Gold v4 PL1.

Anyone else suffering this problem?

Installed work 100% in vB 4.0 gold.

Installed on 4.00 Patch level 1 - can log in as user but when you click on text to log out as the user, nothing happens. Have to hit log out button and then log back in as myself.

Abel, can you explain what I need to do here? Once I see this Error, it auto disables the Mod.

Well just tried this again reinstalling and the link to log in as user in the profile does nothing, but going through the admincp works. But once logged on as user the only way to log out is to use the forums log out and not by clicking on the text that says click to log out. Using 4.0 PL1

Installed on Test Site, works perfectly. Once I am sure it works with all my other add-ons and I put this on my live site I will click installed.

It's much better than the previous option which was to get your user to give you their password. I use it when a user wants help with something or is complaining about something that I just can't see. Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

I suspect I might be like other users who are experiencing this problem and use vBSEO. It turns out that the two Mods interfere with one another. In this case. vBSEO is re-writing the URL in the Member Profile and Header Template changes.

1. Make a copy of your member.php file and call is admember.php
2. Go in to your vBSEO control panel (General Settings -> vBSEO Options) and place admember.php in the Excluded Pages block.

Been using this successfully for a week or so. One problem: I logged in as someone who was sending some spam, and then in another browser tab deleted that user before I was able to log out of that account.

Successive attempts to view the forum at all resulted in errors. I was finally able to re-set things by copying a log out URL from another computer (I probably also could have deleted browser cookies), but it may be prudent to auto-log-out of a user if they're logged in as a user that doesn't exist.

I'm sure this will be very handy to have.

This mod isnt compatible with 4.0.1 I just discovered.
No more link in profile page.

Mod still works with 4.0.1, access via admincp/users/search for users if you need to login in as a user until Able1 can make a fix.

i have a problem with this hack in vb 4.0.1

when i have installed the hack its there in the ACP wenn i do the user search - i can login in from there - but i can not log out again - or also the problem in the forum i can not login to the user because the link is not in the profil

all the rights are okay for my admin user - where is the problem ?!

please update this hack ! because it is very usefull and great !
