I made changes to the templates to make it look more like it did in the older versions.
I figured I would share my templates.

First off here is the screen of what mine looks like.
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/04/38.png

Now here is the code.

Look for the following FORUMDISPLAY templates:

FORUMDISPLAY_Separate
Code:

<li class="threadbit" id="cat1">
<div class="icon0 nonsticky">
<div class="inner">
<p><b>&nbsp; $vbphrase[delim_normal] &nbsp;</b></p>
</div>
</div>
</li>

FORUMDISPLAY_Separate2
Code:

<li class="threadbit" id="cat1">
<div class="icon0 nonsticky">
<div class="inner">
<p><b>&nbsp; $vbphrase[delim_sticky] &nbsp;</b></p>
</div>
</div>
</li>

Very funny ...

Nice mod Atakan, thanks :). Have modified it a touch to just give a blank line between the stickies and normal threads and without the titles.

PitchouneN64ngc 12-03-2009 01:04 PM

Thanks for this mod ;)

I have some things to place here:
  • In the plugin in the 'cache_templates' hook, the line which globalize $globaltemplates is useless. You can remove it.
  • The 'style' option exists nowhere in the product, should it have any function usually?

Sagua 12-12-2009 08:09 PM

Thanks installed.

Atakan KOC 12-13-2009 08:09 AM

I liked the older version than this one. Now threads are not separated.Plust where it said Sticky and Normal there was a background before I imported this update as well. Now I can't get that. Look at the pic I provided.

Besides that thanks and great work.

Vaupell 12-14-2009 09:49 PM

perfer and use old version :D

Mastergumble 12-15-2009 02:58 AM

I like more the other version too, dunno if thats optional on last release, will test it soon.

One thing i dont know if its easy to add in the mod a setting to change the sticky thread title color.

I did that on one of my forums and it created a optimal distinguish between the elements.

sa3sa3 12-19-2009 09:30 AM

thanks

fayax 12-20-2009 11:22 PM

PukkaBen 12-22-2009 04:40 PM

As soon as I have my board set-up and live (uploading this second) this will be the first thing I add!! It should be on there as standard to be honest, we all need use it as it helps big time. Thanks for a great mod.

odln018 12-22-2009 04:52 PM

Thanks!

Gleedo 12-22-2009 08:02 PM

Many Thanks - Installed on live 4.0 system :)

compact123 12-22-2009 10:57 PM

Sir i just wondered when they are updated to vb 4.0.0 gold ? thanks :)

Alien 12-23-2009 04:09 AM

I also see no difference between style 1 and style 2.

While the new way is pretty nice, I still prefer the old way with the gradient splitting the two areas apart.

gersforum@gmail 12-23-2009 05:58 AM

Brilliant mod.. thanks!

KissOfDeath 12-24-2009 07:42 PM

Installed and working , thanks

Come2Daddy 12-26-2009 07:13 PM

thanks

bongwater 12-27-2009 01:39 AM

is it possible to change the background color of the sticky threads to make them look different from the normal threads?

Charlie98902 12-27-2009 01:47 AM

You can do that in the stylvars if I remember right. I would like to see an update where it removes the words sticky and normal and the border around that so actually separating the 2.

vietdjclub 12-27-2009 04:29 AM

installed but get problem with Inline Mode --> Uninstalled
i use Version 4.0.0 RC4

BSMedia 12-27-2009 04:37 PM

You should clean the code up and make it valid CSS

Remove the bold tags all together and add font-weight: bold; to the inner CSS property

baghdad4ever 12-27-2009 05:32 PM

how to increase the padding of it?

lmSoRy 12-28-2009 09:03 PM

Thanks Atakan KOC :)
