Admin CP> Plug Ins And Products> Manage products

Scroll down and click Add/Import Product, Browse to the location of the product file if updating tick the yes radio button, and then just press import one you have done that the [m] bb code will work fine

Hi, I'm a n00b, just installed my first VB forum last night.

I'm getting youtube & vimeo to embed in a test thread of mine, but I'm not able to embed a facebook video or Flickr slideshow.

I'm adding the [m] tag, pasting the url (not the embed code) and closing it with the [/m] tag. Once posted it only displays the text from the link, such as:
http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=1142401273245

This is one of my videos and I believe all of my settings are set to public viewing. Is it because it's a "HQ" video?

And with the Flickr.... is this supposed to embed the slideshow, or just the set?

OK, I guess it's not set to public, I'll fix that in time. I just tried a REAL public video, tried the same method.

I added support for LiveLeaks, Ryoni and NothingToxic.

Telgraph will take more effort than I want to give right now. <Skipped.

Facebook does not work for every video. Not sure what the difference is. I guess they have to be set to public or maybe logged in.

I'll try to make the "optional instructions" automated later but for now that is the best I can explain them. If someone else wants to take a crack at simplifying it, please do.

Also cleaned up the code and fixed several minor things. If you are having problems with any of the links then you should upgrade to latest version. If you are still having problems then post bad links here.

If anyone knows how to add the optional install instructions directly into the product xml please let me know.

Ive been doing a bit of fault checking today. The following three hosts unfortuately dont appear to be working properly; Blip.TV, MySpace Videos and Ryoni. Either just giving a black video or playing the wrong clip. For example try embedding these:

Thanks BENBOBBY. Fixed all three of them in version 0.10.1.

I added an adult filter. Sites like MegaPorn and RedTube will not work unless you edit the XML file before installing/upgrading. Open it in notepad and change $adult from false to true. You will have to do this every time you upgrade.

Boneedd, no. The numbers are Major.Moderate.Minor changes. When I add new sites I increase the second number. When I just fix bugs I increase the third number. When I think most sites have been added and all bug have been found and fixed I will change the first number from 0 to 1.

I do have the button in the go advance box.

To add custom button to quick reply box it is in the template imp_showthread_quickreply

To put it after the Wrap in HTML tags find

Im wondering if it would be possible to make it so when you click the Media Button it opens a popup window to enter the URL of the video?

This would make it more user friendly as it is for inserting images:

Ricardo which specific part of the installation are you having problems with? The instructions given above are pretty thorough.

To edit the "editor_toolbar_on" template you need to log on to your admin control panel, then click Styles & Templates on the left, then Style Manager then look for editor_toolbar_on. Then click Customise or Edit and search for "<if condition="$show['url_bbcode']">" then insert the code given above. :up:

They are disabled by default. Unless you edit the xml file and change $adult to true then the adult sites will not work.

The instructions are as simple as I can put it. If you have followed all the instructions and it doesn't work then it is possible that another mod is interfering.

My only suggestion is to
go to your admincp > Plugins & Products > Plugin Manager
search for "editor_toolbar"
uncheck anything that has that anywhere in the title and click save changes
Test and see if the media bb code button appears
If it does then it means one of the things you unchecked was causing interference.
You can go back and recheck everything you unchecked to re-enable them.

Everytime I have tried to go to Own3d their servers have been too busy. I have never been able to test it myself. I suggest just not using any links from them.

Yes, the problem was for another mod installed...Thanks, the botton appears in the center of editor box. :D

I have a big problem. When I put any video and I choose the tools menu, the video go in front of this menu.

Some videos on google play fine some of them dont show at all the player does not embed and some of them i get the player but wont play the video any sugestions?
