Hey Thanks for the MOD,

However there are few issues with it?

1. I can not delete an Item whenever I do so it takes me to a blank page and nothing happens next.

2. When I add an Item I get this message
Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Invalid arguments passed in [path]/business.php on line 524

however the it passes this through the item gets done.

3. As it was mentioned earlier, I am a MAC user and uses FireFox, The layout it not compatible with FireFox.

I have checked in it both Safari and Explorer and the layout is great on those two browsers.

4. Even though I have changed the Max Number of Photos an item can have to 10 I can not add more than 5

5. When you create a category which has a sub-category and then decide to delete it. It gets deleted with no issues however the sub-category will not be deleted with it and the entire content of this sub-category is available and there is no other way to alter it or delete it.

Hey I am back again, sorry but there are some other issues as well

6. Bookmarking is not working properly. When you click book mark it takes you to a redirect page which states "Invalid data specified"

7. the Hide option in the CP does not funtion, it does exactly what the delete button do. Takes you to an empty page and no action happens there.

8. When there is more than one item in a category the page breaks and shows like this

This is an awesome hack. At my skill level I will have to wait until it is out of the Beta phase. Though I may try it out on a test forum soon! Until now I have been using the actual forums and polls to do a similar listing for my businesses, so I eagerly await the official release of this mod!

I do have a couple of questions though...Would it be possible to set up two independent directories on one forum with this? I would like to set up a business directory as well as a resource directory so I can get them off my forums. I look forward to hearing from you!

I have installed this on my test board and am getting sql errors. I have a feeling it is something to do with an old hack though. Any thoughts?

It can be done, but it needs attention. You need to replace all:
microbusiness --------> microresources (or any other unique name)
business.php --------> resources.php

If your text editor supports the feature "Ask before replace", then activate it. It will takes you a bit more time but is safier.

You also need to change the filenames.

There is no limit on categories levels. You can add as many subcat levels as you like.

You can already do it. Just the search includes the specific category and all subcategories (if they are exists).

2. because there's only one result, you can use query_first instead of query_read

After long vacations (I'm not such young any more), I'm back. Give me a couples of days to check all posts here. Just for your info 99% of the bugs are not really bugs. The full version is working fine. Most probably when I removed some parts of the code to release the Lite version, seems that I also removed code/functions that need to be there.

LIMIT 1 is also correct plus it has an advantage. Try to query a table with 5,000 records using query_first and then using my style. Then count the elapsed time. After this you'll understand why I'm using LIMIT 1 and not query_first.

As I wrote before, lite version came out by subtracking functions and other parts of code. I'll check it and I'll correct the errors.

They don't work on Firefox only. Firefox understands on different way than the other browsers (not only IE), the meaning of 100% in width when there are other cells with fixed width. To make it more clear, if in a row there are 3 cells, 2 of them with specific width 100px and you want the 3nd one to have the rest available width, other browsers accept as width of 3nd cell 100%, while firefox not. Firefox needs to ommit "width" in the 3nd cell.

They're not real bugs. The original (full version) works 3 months not without a single bug. The problem comes out when I'm removing features from the full version. By doing I'm always removing by mistake code that it must remain.

Yes, there is, but not available to public yet. I gave it just to 7 old clients, as I was ready to leave for vacations and had no time for support others.

Everything can be done, but it needs a deeper look. Even if in the lite version you add just category name, in the full version you add more, like if the category should has forum or not.

So, I think that is better to add an option "Suggest category". Much more easier, and more secure.

Sure. Just don't give permissions to other usergroups to add new items. You can allow them to rate or discuss, if you want.
