a question regarding this vs zoints.

I am using zoints on a board which is several years old and has a lot of indexed url's

can i change over to this easily and have the same url's (using the third option in zoints for mod rewrite urls)

I would like to be using a plugin which is beign actively developed and having what looks like very useful features added to it but i dont want to risk my rankings in the serps by changing over.

As you are familiar with both could you make a migration script to backup all the zoints settings and import them to c logic??

you shouldnt have any trouble with a move over from zoints to c-logic i made this with that in mind so you should be ok as for the configurations there is only a few configurations that would need setting to get going 5 minutes max i would think so your be in safe hands if you make the change over

does the existing htaccess just work?

and does it support blogs?

I have a big problem! I didnt change the htaccess file before uploading and when I installed the xml file i now get this message.

im not sure i have never used or looked at YABBSEO so i really couldnt tell you i can say that no 2 seo is ever really the same they might have similar features but thats about it!

Your doing something wonky after saving your settings. What are you trying to load or redirect to?

My other products save settings just fine and so do your other parts (meta tags etc) ... it's just the SEO Properties settings.

well there isnt really anything wrong with this product as its been tested and working fine on all over servers did you check the post i showed you and is everything else working fine eg the url rewriting?

i deleted everything in the upload folders that were installed on yours and zoints, i think that was the problem. do u know if there is any way to fix this or should i lose all my data and re install my forum?

this is because you have not removed all files check to make sure all is gone and remember to delete what you changed in your .htaccess

and before deleting C-logic SEO make sure it is turned off then delete the product first then files!

YABBSEO does not work with the MediaWiki/VB bridge. It will kill your Wiki if you have one.

I am using tfSEO right now... I wont even try this one until the author starts supporting it here; which he said he would do when it goes gold.

notsure about the differanceswith that SEO never looked at it and i cannot tell you if it breaks anything like the last person has, but i can say that C-Logic is stable and there is only a few problems which will not effect you! mainly C-Logic SEO is being updated now with new features

i wouldnt say that this mod puts on much more load to the server than what is already going on as part of C-Logic is to keep it light and simple for every user to be able to use my recomendation is to testit and see if its too much load for you!

languages are always hardwhen you think most is in english so many people dont add in the abillities for other languages but C-Logic does already have some character corrections for languages like turkish and if arabic does not work properly i am able to update it to work properly for the next release

It works well but is there a way we can redirect the urls to regular vbulletin urls without affecting search engine indexed pages? If i remove your product right now, all the indexed pages will be a waste and It will take quite a time to get all those pages indexed again right?

you mightbe able to make a simple 301 redirect script to redirect all unknown links to your front page!

I forgot to disable Zoints before installing this and now get this error!!! My forum will not load and I cannot get into AdminCP, please help!!!

Edit: Fixed, added this to config file
