Can you make it so that the moods can be changed in the navbar instead of having to go into the profile. It seems redundant and a waste of server resources to have to go to the profile page just to edit a mood that has already been done to be able to edit in the navbar.

Either, this is still a good mod and I am using it. Good work.

Agreed. This should be like the old mood hack where you could select your mood from a list. Instead of having to click a "CHANGE MOOD HERE!!" and being brought to another page. But the author hasn't been seen in months...

  1. I want to put the mood graphic in a custom place in my postbit. I do not want to use "$template_hook[postbit_userinfo_left]" or "$template_hook[postbit_userinfo_right]". Can I break it away from using these? I want to place the mood right under my user title without the surrounding box.

  2. In the ACP, I told it to show 150 moods per page and although I only have 120 moods, it still breaks it up into 2 pages. Ideas?

Can't help you with 2, but I did that for 1, and also changed it to where the moods are actual smilies instead of the long bars. You have to edit the plus_mood_postbit template. For example, this is mine:

Code:

<br />
<div align="left"><legend><b><a href="http://www.siteurl.com/profile.php?do=editmood">$vbphrase[plus_mood]</a></legend>:</b> <img class="inlineimg" src="images/images_mood/$usermood[img].gif" alt="$usermood[alt]" border="0" />
</div>

And then edit your postbit_legacy or whatever you're using and move that template hook to where you want it.

Can I get the url to your site so I can see how yours looks?

utahraves 04-28-2009 07:36 PM

I didn't like how you set the max moods per page to be 100 and didn't put that in the admincp screen for MOOD OPTIONS. I have a lot of moods and don't like pages.

I am having the exact same problem.

Is there an answer to this anywhere?

You don't upload the files to /uploads/includes/ or /uploads/images/moods/ - the uploads part is just to tell you WHAT to upload.

Put them in /includes/ and /images/

If you mean "what is it", it's the top navigation bar on any vBulletin page.

If you mean, "where do I find the navbar template to edit it":
  1. Admin CP | Styles & Templates | Style Manager | {select your template} | Edit Templates

  2. Scroll down to Navigation / Breadcrumb Templates and click on that to open the list of templates.

  3. Click on navbar to edit.

You think what is? Making a comment like that in the middle of nowhere is pretty much pointless.

Someone please help me, I got rid of the ugly box in the postbit but cannot get it unbolded and centered in the brackets like the rest of the stuff in my postbit.

Can someone assist with this?

edit:

nevermind, I fixed it by changing the "left" to "center"

and adding this to the top of the code:

PHP Code:

<div class="postbit_field"

I have some kind of issue.

When my forum users don't set a mood all i get is a blank space inside the box when browsing with firefox, but when browsing with IE all i get is the little red "X". Is there a way to set a default no mood image or to see just the blank space as in firefox?

Thanks in advance :)

I'll second this. I've tried a number of things to work around this, none of which worked. Creating a mood called "none.gif" doesn't seem to do the trick.

floggerss 06-07-2009 11:20 PM

You can choose to able or disable based on usergroup permission+

Anyone have this working in the ibproarcade mod? If so...how'd you go about getting it to show up?

Doesn't show up on my arcade pages.

Hi,

The mod works great except for one smaller usergroup. Can't seem to see where one would enable/disable for certain usergroups. Any help is appreciated?

Thanks,
Sherry

AdminCP --> vBulletin Options --> vMoods by luqmanamjad.com

Near bottom, you can enter in usergroup ID #'s to ban from using, it should be enabled for everyone already unless you have it disabled or some options not set correctly.

lol, don't thank me until something is working :D

Edit: Also in the options you can simply enter in the name of the mood images to activate the ones not listed so for instance I had a fellow admin ask about (I know forgive me here lol) "Horny" so simply look in the folder you uploaded onto your FTP that is still in your computer, see the mood? copy just the name and paste into that box then save and now you have it ;) just remember it is case sensitive.

Hi again,

Ok, I must be losing it :) I see:
AdminCP --> vBulletin Options --> Mood Options
All I have is: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...3&d=1236296386

Don't have what you described:
Near bottom, you can enter in usergroup ID #'s to ban from using, it should be enabled for everyone already unless you have it disabled or some options not set correctly.

No place for User Group ID's :(

Maybe I'm just losing it LOL

Sherry

sherrym 07-31-2009 05:44 AM

Went into the database and found that the mood setting for this user was set to "none"

Removed "none" and left the filel blank and it works now.
