You don't upload your files one at a time, you upload them all at once. That's why their already sorted where they're supposed to go.

They've always been marked as unsupported, since updates can be done on the fly by the community. I just hang around and create the illusion it is. Kind of like the illusion I create to make it sound like I know what I'm talking about.

Heh, sure. Here's one where you won't have to go anywhere to grab URLs. I made this one to auto format internal link from your forum. This one does Forums and Category links (NOTE: does not do the ones with "daysprune" in the URL). It's supposed to grab the URL and title of the page.

Changed the results per page to 50 and it worked like a charm. :):up:

Thanks DJ. Found the problem and have sorted it for next release. Its pretty minor so I'll hold off to see if there is anything else that needs to get fixed before I do another release. As a side note, make sure all $url and $title variables in your definitions are $ameinfo[url] and $ameinfo[title] respectively. $url will no longer put the url in and $title may or may not produce the title you are after :)

They are in the first post of the thread, but here are the specific changes from 2x to 2.5:

• Validation ability. This will help prevent media being embedded that can not be embedded (i.e. youtube videos that the author has stipulated can not be shown off of youtube). This option requires the extraction option to be turned on and a valid validation regexp. I have included one in the default youtube version. When a video on you tube gets embedded, but the author doesnt allow embedding, a link (with icon) is shown instead.
• Ability to prevent non authorised usergroups from viewing (see Readme file in zip for more info)
• Usergroup permissions (edit usergroup to adjust edit/view permissions)
• Template driven system
• Signatures supported
• Different sizes and template configurations for each supported zone (posts, blogs, groups, visitor messages and signatures)
• A couple new hooks (Mainly to support a future add on for AME media in profiles)
• Notfication system (similar to vB's to check for errors)
• Definition keys for easier updating of definitions and to use in templates
• File caching system which radically reduces processing
• And more that I cant think of off the top of my head!

Videos are not displayed in vbAdvanced webpages.
All I get is the title like the picture displays.

its not embedding.. its just showing a link

The videos still get show in widescreen format. But if you can change the Replacement HTML if you want a larger video monitor.


Is this the same site as the one in your profile? Because the videos at that site are showing on the vBa pages.


Show us a link to the video that's not embedding. Also, double check your settings.

Just FYi, getting this error when importing individual XML files for imeem, etc.,

But if I click the "import" button, it seems to work just fine.

I prefer a mod that create a BB code like this:

after reinstalling it, the footer disappeared (nothing seems to help)
do you use any special PHP functions with this Modification that I need to apply in my server?

I've installed version 2.5.1 and in the Installed Products section the AME version is 2.5.0, what should I do?

Works for me. But my list of definitions that doesn't is ever growing. I will be creating a list so maybe DJ could help me out maybe. For example, ESPN does not work for me.

Sens: You have 2 youtube definitions.

Keep in mind, many media sites change their formats frequently. Also, many definitions will need updating for this version.

What footer? Your page footer? I couldnt imagine this mod affecting the vB footer?

You don't need special functions for this to work. If your site runs vB, this will be fine :)

If you installed 2.5.1, it will be fine. Looks like I just didn't update the internal version number (will do for next update)

It is most likely that the definition needs updating (imeem isnt a default definition)

Super and informative. FWIW I like a system where I don't have to type BBcodes in. No more than other users like to wrap URLs in tags. Copy + Paste FTW. Not to mention bbcode tags like the above are VERY inefficient if you have multiple providers.

I am trying to install this for the first time but when i try to import the "Djs Master XML (Delta)" it says invaild file specified.

What am i doing wrong?

Do i have the correct file or have i missed a step?

Hi. First off, make sure you click install on this mod please :)
Second, Make sure you are importing the definitions using AME's import system (not vBulletin's product importer)
Otherwise, you need to ask in the thread you downloaded the definition from.

when I'm installing it all of the board footer disappear, there are some problems with the member.php page too and with the PM (You have 2 unread messages) I can't press on that part.

when I'm uninstalling it, everything is back to normal.

what can it be?

Only thing I can think of is some sort of mod conflict. This system isnt even invoked on member.php
