Paul, another thing.. the reported Private Message isn't working, the thread is created but doesn't show on Message field:

Paul M 02-13-2009 05:44 PM

I dont know what you mean by "doesn't show on Message field"

Seems to be working fine for me.

Showing "0" instead of message #. I know that's a Private Message, but maybe if show anything else (like sender's id or member number) instead a 0, should be a little less confusing for all staff members..

Paul M 02-14-2009 06:22 PM

That field is the post number (and link to the post), both of which are irrelevant for reported PM's, therefore it is set to zero. That is not a fault, it is by design.

Greek76 02-15-2009 11:06 AM

Reported posts don't show up on the reported posts page for me either.

I see.. thanks.

Is it possible to change in a new version? Put something else, another info like the sender's id or the link for sender's profile?

Paul M 02-17-2009 04:13 PM

Possible I guess, but then the column header would be incorrect. Still, I'll think about it.

Big-K 02-26-2009 02:04 AM

Hi Paul,

two questions

1. On my board, we try to make moderators anonymous. Is there a way to not show the moderators column, but still find a way to show the "reported post information" pop-up?

2. In the "reported post information" pop-up, I'm always seeing "No Reply Yet " in the comments field, even when there's been a response in the reported post thread.

Thanks!

Paul M 02-26-2009 07:11 AM

1. I suppose you could edit the template to output some fixed text instead of the mods name.

2. The response must be a quote (or whatever tag you have set) in the first staff response post.

Thanks Paul. Which of the templates control the output of the report list? The "Reported_Post_list" does not have a field for the specific row items.

Paul M 02-26-2009 07:59 PM

Hmm, having looked, its not that simple, you would have to edit the plugin code.

I found the code in Reported Post List (2), created a phrase called "Details" to replace moderators username. Many thanks

Paul M 02-28-2009 12:17 PM

They are standard vb phrases, you search for them in the ACP (Languages & Phrases >> Search in Phrases) - I dont really see what else I can tell you.

Im amazed no one else has asked that :) I forgot this needs a manual link creating atm.

To view the page you need to create a link to misc.php?do=reported

I'll update it in the next few days to auto create a link in Quick Links or the Community Links.

I created a new Forum under Admin area which is closed by membergroup to only staff.

Great Tool Paul.

Thank you!

How to reported posts show only administrators and moderators?

SEW810 04-07-2009 04:39 PM

Not working, reported post log (thread) always empty.
Everyone can see reported post screen. (Setts says only Admins can )
I've translated everything just as txt says.

Using vb 3.8.1 :(

What's wrong?

RedHacker 04-07-2009 04:52 PM

The mod is working and i have 3.8.1 try then again..

Paul how can show only admin and mods in community\report post ....?

Paul M 04-07-2009 08:58 PM

There is no facility to only allow certain usergroups to view the list, it is designed for all (except guests).

amjadz4 04-14-2009 05:30 PM

well how does an admin or a mod take action on the list? all i see is no action yet on the reported page.

Wseries 04-16-2009 11:09 PM

Working wells so far. Don't like the colon that's put into the thread title in my reported posts forum. I'd it to read "Reported Post in {Thread Title} without having to edit it manually every time. Is there a phrase or template I can edit to fix it?

For this system to work you must have vbulletin set-up to create a new thread for each report.

Correct, nothing to do other than import it.

tryckj?vel 08-23-2009 04:32 AM
