God I love Dr Pepper. I've made myself a promise to cut back on it though.

I also eat a lot of pork which I also hear is bad for you. In fact I bet about 80% of the food my family eats everyday is "bad" for us. But hey we live in the south...one of the few places where begin a little fat is considered begin healthy. You know what I think? I think if most people went back to having to grow their own food and catch/raise their own meat we'd all be better off for it. I knew I was digging myself an early grave years ago. I don't even want to think about all the ways I've abused my body over the years...drugs (and nearly ODing more than once)...questionable women....my "need for speed" which almost got me killed plenty of times. I'm thankful I've slowed down a little, otherwise I probably wouldn't be around today. Point is; Do whatever the hell you want. Just make sure that you're taking care of yourself and your responsibilities in the process. :p |
The key really is being responsible with your health. There's no way to weed out everything that could possible be bad for you. Even home grown food bears the possibility of being contaminated by the ground it's grown in, so there's no fool proof method of eating 100% healthy. You just have to make good choices and not overdo any one thing.

I wont consider dr pepper, since Red Bull cola was released. Quite a kick in the ass.

Crap should I go shave my head now too? I can do scank if I'm forced too. LOL
I will never give up my Pepper no matter how many people hate me. LOL What a silly message |
About 6-7 bottles of water a day for me. I occasionally drink one can of coke, but unless it's water based (tea/coffee), it is strictly water for me.
|
I keep myself on a pretty constant caloric intake (1800 calories a day) so diet drinks are one less thing to have to track. A 20 oz. bottle of Coke has 60 grams of carbs, and I limit myself to 180. That's a third of my days carbs without having any real food, on just one bottle. Diet drinks normally have zero carbs. Plus my dad's diabetic so I grew up around Diet Coke and Diet Dr. Pepper.
Lately I've been drinking more Crystal Light, good stuff and no calories. I recommend the peach tea. |
