How does the new one sucks? It's a lot better. For starters, memory usage has been cut down drastically.
If you can't give a good point, then don't post. You could mean anything by "it sucks". |
Has anyone had any issues with FF3 and the vbulletin navbar? The Quick Links menu on mine does not drop down anymore with the new FF.

I've had issues with 2-3 sites, but it boiled down to cookies between them being set with FF2 and opening up a site (with set cookies) on FF3 after the upgrade. Removing the cookies and (of course the cache) fixed the issues.

The only problem I have had, is on the download/upload styles, and the PRODUCT manager upload box is just grey and I can't see the file path when I pick something to upload.

Wayne, you crack me up. LOL
Does vb have the code included for the IE6 DirectX issue now? And have you tried IE8 beta yet? |
To keep it as brief as possible so the thread can get back on topics.
No, its here as a template edit though. Yes, use IE 8 beta 1 everyday actually. |
Please stay on topic, more posts about LOA's site will be removed.

About 500 bookmarks are suddenly lost, and it looks like IE.
Also I really dislike what they’ve done with the grey area around the favicons. My first impression is it’s pretty much terrible. |
|
Nothing like it. I also like the favicon area.
As I've said earlier, the only problem I seem to be having is with the vBulletin upload boxes. They are just grey... Anyone else having this problem? |
Default theme looks nothing like IE. In fact I think its missing some usability buttons but the toolbars are easily customizable and you can install addons and themes to change things. Took my 10 addons to make it look and have some of the features of IE including inherit the glass elements of the Vista Aero theme. If only there was an easy way to put buttons on the tab bar in Firefox now, I could eliminate some of the screen real estate it uses.

You're going to struggle to find a download...
Most, even the host sites have all updated to firefox 3.0 and remove the 2 download. |

Most the plugins have been updated for 3.0 anyway. Many were updated in the early beta stages...

I'm not surprised there is an update already.
That thing we ran into deals with websites that use JPEG or otherwise background images instead of just HTML or other styling. It's very strange though because the error only occurs if the background image you are using, is the full resolution of the monitor that someone is looking at it on. So for example, I got my 20 inch new pc/monitor in the mail and then I had my laptop. The error went away on the 20 inch monitor because the background image wasn't set up for 20 inch monitors, but it still occurred on the 15 inch laptop screen because the background image filled the whole screen. Oh and Wayne, be advised our site looks great in Safari as well, or the latest version because I just dl'd it the other day and it scrolls perfectly and I see no graphical issues anywhere. So the only one I haven't seen it in is Opera, and again, don't really care if it looks good in that or not. I'll download the update, hopefully FF has fixed that bug. |
