The members does not show up online in their profiles or posbits.

This doesn't seem to do anything for me at all. Unless I'm misunderstanding what it actually does.

Sucks is a little strong, Why don't you fix it for us so it works the way you think it should

For some reason, i have double commas between fake users:
share, , bongolijus, , wheechee, , marun, , andrioox, , Monikusi, , Ambraziejus, , Ram, , Mr.Dominique, , grigazas, , Antanas26, , Gloom, , babysonfire, , Zydrius, , faceless

What do i do to avoid that? Between real users there is one comma only.

This mod will be excellent if improved and made below suggestions:
- Selected members should be shown in their profiles, postbits and who's online page including online sign (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2010/01/8.gif.
- (Last Activity time/date) in profile & pages that have last activity must be faked too to show the member presence.
- It should add members to "People logged in the past 24 hours"
- Not change members with every view of the forumhome but fake log them in for the same duration as the cookie timeout. For example drop off the who's online after 30 minutes of inactivity. If I set the fake users to 1, I'd like that same 1 person logged in for 30 minutes and seen by all members online (same 1 person), and then have it change to another member.

Above suggestions is collected from the users installed the mod including me. If above suggestions are note included, the mod will create trouble to the board owner as members will notice.

I am willing to pay for adding these suggestions in the product.

was waiting for this thnx.can u add an option to add fake posts n threads that would be great. one problem thogh the last option u added for select user group ,is this option allow it to pick fake users from specified groups? if it does then its not working.it is only picking the users from default group#2

ah I just click to view the profile of one of the user that shows online and it shows

This Mod is completely Crap. Neither it adds to the last visited or neither it shows the users online in their Profiles. It also doesn't change the Last online date.

If these errors can be corrected ,then it will be a very useful hack.

I don't think so it will be updated because there isn't any response from the coder in this thread.

Calling it crap isn't likely to solicit a response or an update. Especially when it's something you need.

to whom it may concern, this hack is NOT crap. its awesome for people with new boards. I sincerely hope there is an update.

Changing the last visited date is not hard but it will increase the number of queries to the database to update the field for every user. I can try it on my board and if it works and other people are interested, I'll share the solution.

^here is the working version; it turned out that you only need to make one query to the database. btw does anyone know how does vb calculates if user's status is online or offline? If I can find that out then I can fix followings:

1 - don't display the user which is already online
2 - display status as online in profile for the fake online users

I'm also thinking of adding the time limit option before the next set of users are selected; this way on every refresh new users will not be selected.

I am sure he was just joking on the Update. Aton please update your hack. It will be one of the best hack ever. We all will nominate this hack .

EDIT: Wait one thing is changed. Its updating the last visited date.
But it should show them in Who's online also.

Its still useless until online status and whos online can be fixed.

Agreed although the concept is ok and can help sites develop.

If this hack will be corrected than it will be MOTM for sure!

the change is working and Hitterman has confirmed it. I don't think the author is available at the moment so I can't ask him. I guess i'll try to make the changes and share the updated file when I've sometime on my hand.
