You don't change it in style vars for this theme. Go to the header template and change the logo image there.

rolloffhill 05-31-2008 11:13 PM

Yeah just found that...:o

It is a bit wide thought, other than resizing the image to fit better, is there a way to make it line up with the tables?

Help I'm style stupid...:erm:

Ohiosweetheart 05-31-2008 11:26 PM

The header is coded to stretch across the forum like that. It would have to be recoded.

Stilgar 06-01-2008 03:21 PM

Great theme! Installed easy and looks outstanding.

One thing I noticed. In the statusicon forum, the style is asking for subforum_new.png and subforum_old.png, but the folder contains subforum_new.gif and subforum_old.gif. :D

Again, great theme, thanks!

binal0072003 06-05-2008 05:38 PM

nice one,
i have set it as my forum theme

thanx

Well darn. The forum status icons are png format. The replacement variable must have called the same format for the subforum icons. You should be able to rename the subforum icons to subforum_new.png and they should be fine.

Great, I'm so glad you like it :)

kevcj 06-11-2008 10:46 PM

Very nice looking theme - thank you!

One question though, how can I remove the threads and post columns from the home page? For the other styles I have installed I used the directions from this link - http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showp...59&postcount=1

The columns have been removed, but the title is still there. Here is a link to the style if you want to see it - http://www.survivalistboards.com/index.php?styleid=8

kevcj 06-12-2008 12:47 AM

Never mind, everything is fine now.

Ohiosweetheart 06-12-2008 01:39 AM

Sorry I wasn't here to help. I'm glad you got it figured out :)

Great, I'm so glad you like it :)

That's exactly what I did. I just wanted to let you know. Also to let you know how much I like the theme. :)

Ohiosweetheart 06-16-2008 11:16 PM

Thank you very much Stilgar, I'm glad you like it. :)

Ohiosweetheart 07-02-2008 02:38 PM

updated to 3.7.2

easytiger747 07-05-2008 05:01 PM

Hi Ohiosweetheart. I really love the skin. However, for some reason the icons are all coming up as ?. Any chance of you having a quick peek to see what I have done wrong.

I am not very IT literate so your patience might be required. My website address is www.crewforumfriends.com.

Many thanks and more power to you!

Easy

Ohiosweetheart 07-05-2008 06:52 PM

easytiger, you don't have the style turned on, so I can't see it. However, judging from what you're saying, my best guess is that the images were uploaded in the wrong place.
Be sure that you created a styles folder inside your forums' images folder, then upload the bgreen folder inside the styles folder. The image path will be images/styles/bgreen

Attila M. 07-08-2008 06:36 AM

Installed.

So we need to physically change the name of the file or change it in VB? If we change it in the style where do I find that?

open your ftp, locate the bgreen folder in the styles directory, go to the statusicon folder, locate the subforum icons. You'll need to rename all three of them. For example, find subforum_old.gif and rename it subforum_old.png.

That's all :)

rolloffhill 07-12-2008 03:13 AM

Thanks, just wanted to make sure before I did anything..;)

Ohiosweetheart 07-12-2008 03:16 AM

I really will get around to renaming these - I promise!

rolloffhill 07-13-2008 04:30 PM

That worked thanks!

mcstraycat 07-14-2008 05:29 PM

I followed the instructions.
Made a styles folder within images folder.
Uploaded the files.

Upon attempting the upload of the xml file, I got a message saying it was built in 3.7.2 so needed upgrade first.
So I did.

Then I again attempted to upload the xml file. I get a "invalid file" message.

Would you mind telling me what I'm doing wrong?
It's a beautiful style and would love to use it.

Thanks in advance.

Ohiosweetheart 07-14-2008 05:45 PM

mc I have no idea what the problem could be. That's a first for me.
Please attempt to import the xml file again and click yes for "ignore style version". Just for the heck of it. Let's see if that works.

mrahul 07-17-2008 08:14 AM

Ohiosweetheart 07-18-2008 02:51 PM

Try again please.

Dan Clark 07-21-2008 03:16 PM

Hi. I like the Business Green style. It is one of the nicest styles available. However, I found what might be a bug.

When you have a board with no category, the board's columns disappear in the board listing. This is only an issue with Business Green and not an issue with the default style.

Attached are two images. The first shows how it looks in BG. The second shows the default style.

I tried creating a new board, but got the same issue. It appears that way regardless of whether there are posts or no posts in the board.

Is this a bug in BG? A setting that I'm missing?

Thanks and regards,

Dan.

Ohiosweetheart 07-21-2008 05:52 PM

Dan, I'm not sure what could be causing this. I have this installed on my developement board, which is where I design all of my themes, and this is not an issue there. Plus, I've not had anyone else report this.

Of course the one thing I can think of is that the theme is designed to work with categories.

Dan Clark 07-21-2008 06:01 PM

Thanks. We were hoping to have a single forum with no category at the top of the first page to welcome new users.

I created a category to get around this issue, however the category takes up valuable space. Please let me know if you find a solution.

Thanks and regards,

Dan.

Ohiosweetheart 08-09-2008 11:43 AM

Dan I've found no solution for this. Have you?

Creative Liquid 08-29-2008 06:50 PM

Thank you for a great style. I just upgraded to 3.7.3 and it says the member info template needs to be updated or reverted. Should I be concerned or is there a update for this. Thanks.

Thank you!

I didn't make any edits to the MemberInfo template, so you can save it or revert it, whichever you want. I'll get around to updating these styles as soon as I get some free time.

Ohiosweetheart 11-04-2008 11:27 AM

I need a screen shot or link to your forum to understand what you're talking about.

Stepahnie123 11-09-2008 08:29 PM

Installed, thanks again :)

Ohiosweetheart 11-09-2008 09:59 PM

You're welcome.

FearlessWeeder 11-19-2008 04:07 PM

This style is very clean and efficient with the added benefit of not being fixed. Very well done.

Pardon my ignorance but are there options to customize colors if this particular skin is installed? Leaning more toward the greens in this skin-
http://vbskins.com/forums/?styleid=220

But these would be ok too-
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/

Ohiosweetheart 11-19-2008 05:56 PM

Thank you.

Colors can be changed in the style's Main CSS section. Keep in mind that the category strips, footer and navbar are images, not just colors. If you change those, you'll lose alot of the clean "look".

FearlessWeeder 11-19-2008 06:06 PM

Somehow I didn't think it was going to be as easy as buying the template and simply using some sort of a drop down menu to select colors.

I thank you very kindly for your candid reply.

petteyg359 11-22-2008 12:59 AM

You've got lots of thumbs.db files in the zips. Otherwise, great style.
