Set the postbit width in the mod's vbulletin options.

Thanks

neologan 06-20-2008 11:56 AM

the issue with ie not following the ad borders, are you just looking for html that will fix this or is the issue more serious?

I use code on my main site that works in IE without having to enter a width, would that be useful to you?

neologan 06-20-2008 12:09 PM

ok a few issues.

1) the quote problem, this must be rather simple surely?

2) instead of having "Each how many messages", why not have another system where you can choose when the ad should be repeated and how many times, so:

Display an ad every how many posts?: 4
Do this how many times?: 3

This would mean the ad shows 3 times on the first, fourth and 8th post. This is a better system i think.

aside from these two issues, it's bording on perfect. thanks! :)

Rat1972 09-26-2008 06:38 AM

can it also set the adsense below the signature?

pnosko31 09-26-2008 05:48 PM

vietfancy 09-26-2008 07:01 PM

Fungsten 10-29-2008 07:27 PM

Installed. I"m using VB 3.7.3 in postbit legacy and the text is not wrapping around the ads. They are getting pushed to the left in a long narrow column. I saw in the thread that some others are having the same problem. Does anyone have a fix for this? TIA!

goldenchildren 11-10-2008 06:12 PM

Hi every time I time and Import it comes up with "No file uploaded and no local file found" even though I am clearly pointing it to the right file on my machine, running cp in safari and vb 3.7.3 any ideas as it's driving me nuts!

nymyth 12-18-2008 02:40 PM

anyone found a solution to the white page problem??

Thanks

nymyth 12-18-2008 08:19 PM

Here is the solution....

Code:

<if condition="(!$GLOBALS['FIRSTPOSTID'] and !$GLOBALS['vbulletin']->GPC['ajax'])">

Riccardo83 01-02-2009 02:32 PM

I'm not sure if you were replying to me but if you were that isn't what I meant. I still want the ad in the 1st post, but at the bottom of the post, not the right side of the post , where it is positioned by default.

How would I need to modify the <div> in the XML file?

Riccardo83 01-03-2009 08:46 AM

Well I was replying to you indeed. What I ment was to have the ad inside the first post and the option to have it inside of the last post on every page as well.

I'd love to tell ya how but I'm not sure myself...

You need to adjust the postbit width, I think its set to 200 by default, I have mine set at 750 http://www.ukbusinesslive.co.uk/foru...hread.php?t=56

it depends if you have a fluid or fixed style, best thing to do is to pay with it and see, trial and error always works for me ;)

First of all, you need a Google Adsense account. Once you have one set up you can create all kinds of different ads. Once you create ads you get an ad code. Once you get your ad code, use that. :)
