I got a problem when it loads. It keeps refreshing the entire page every 10 seconds, insted of just the banner. Has anyone had this issue, or noticed it happening yet?

Very nice, banners work fine in it.

The only problem i do have is if i mark all banners as inactive all my animated forum sigs stop working in IE but wirk fine in firefox.

when you add the banner, put /[forumdir]/ in front of cyb_banners and you dont' ahve to have two separate folders

You don't need hack for this. Just make animated gif that will not loop but rotate content once.

I have a Flash Banner with an embedded Media player...I want to rotate vids on each page load.....an animated gif won't cut it

Awesome plugin Syb. But is it also possible to show specific banners in a specific section of a forum? That would be awesome. I also found a problem. It seems that using this plugin with banners causes anti-adblock is removing the banners (adblock with firefox). And also, please add on which forum sections the banner should show up.

what the hell is a super admin? I'm having the same issue as a bunch of other admins here......when I click on the "manage banners" in the quick links it just takes me to a page with smilies. I went through every option and my admin account is set to do EVERYTHING. This makes no sense.

Go into the vBulletin config.php file, (forums/includes) folder and search through the code for "Super Admin" and add your user id to it ;)

Yea I was googling and just found that. My user ID is 1 and it's listed as the super admin. Anything else to try?

I tested this with another user. once I put their userid in the super admin field of the forum/includes file and login with that user the "manager banners" link is showing in the quick links but it still just takes me to the smilies page.

Yea I did that too. I didn't have to follow that step and the "manage banners" link was already in the quick links but I went and added that code anyways which basically just put two links in the quick links dropdown and I still get the same thing.

I can see the link just fine but no matter what it just takes me to a page with smilies listed.

I just changed my forum/includes config file and took user ID 1 out and went to the page, refreshed, and checked the quick links and manage banners link disappeared. Once i went back in and put my user id "1" back in and refreshed the manage banner link reappeared. So it seems to me that hack recognizes I'm set as a super admin but for some reason I can not see the banner manager page :(

Finally figured it out. The Admins account has to have admin set as the primary usergroup and not as an aditional usergroup. If you use the experience mod that's here and use the promotion system within that, one of the requirements is to set your admin account to admin as the secondary group. So this will not work with the automatic promotion system in the experience hack.

It'd be cool if we could have different ad categories.

Example: I want to place 5 ads in my header, and now I want to place 5 different ads in my footer. If I add 10 ads now they will all rotate through the header and footer but making it so I can create different categories will allow me to divide my ads up throughout the site. Maybe for future upgrades?

Got it working thanks.

Only thing is that I am not sure hwere to place $cyb_flashimagebanners in my header file to make it so that it is centered on the right side of my site, it keeps throwing off the margins and stuff and knocking my logo on the left side out of the table.

My problem is once I click on a banner and it takes me to the site for that banner when I go back to where I have the banner rotator on my site and click on another banner nothing happens unless I reload the page. Help please?

Great work 1quick - I couldn't figure out the problem and never received any help with it. Cyb, can this be fixed to include additional usergroups?
