The redirect to smilies only happens if you are not set up as the main administrator (the same ID as the one set in the vBulletin configuration file). It does not affect the functionality at all.
If you want to set global permissions just make sure you have the same ID as the one used in config. If you just want to set the permissions on a few forums and not right across the lot, then just go ahead and don't worry about the smilies redirect.

Is there any way to maybe hide the last post column when a user needs a certain post count to access that forum?

My site only has one admin (me) and only one admin account (userid 1).

nice mod. great work! would love to see the ability to define whitelists for links to this mod. for example, if I could specify a list of domains that could be linked to, or even just a regular expression that links must go thru that would be great. useful in situations where I want users to be able to link, but only to trusted hosts.

Thanks Cybernetec!! Exactly what I've been needing. I'm even running 3.6.10, and didn't really realize that it was for 3.7! However, it works great! We're waiting on 3.7, and looking into the upgrade soon. :)

Cyb, here's a feature request:

Could you add the ability to input a number of posts and how long you get edit the post. This is because, I want to set a limit for new members, but if a user has X posts, then they can have longer to edit their post...stops spammers!
