Where do I edit the automatically inserted donate link under the quick links menu? I did not find it in the navbar template, right above the private message link where it does show up in the actual menu.

When I try to add the donation bar to the private pages i get this error

I have just tried upgrading but I am getting a blank page whenever I attempt to bring up the donation page.

I am unable to get the links showing up either ie in the navbar or under misc.

I am running 3.6.8 & 3.7.0 on a test site, both are doing the same thing

This is what I get logged in as admin, yet regular member group does not see the link in the quick link menu drop down. I don't know why because I enabled the hack and set everything as it should be.

The link hasnt appered on my Navbar for my Custom Style but it has on my default style, How do i get the link on?

Also the link is Green how do i just make it same colour as the rest?

"Date format" in the "Cyb - PayPal Donate" Options should let you customize it like the "Date For Format" in "Date and Time Options" found in the Control Panel.

My date format is completely different than any of those two options.

mine is: Y年-m月-d日

I too believe that would have to be.

In Europe, in my case in Spain shows no date.
Shown only text d-m and o-m-d-y.
This also happens to more than 3 people I would recommend this mod.

mine is: %m-%d-%Y This is like what I have in the options dated vBulletin

in the table "vb_cybppdonate" in dateline show 1210629600 for date 13-05-08

Does that change would have to do is to show the date correctly?

I am having the same probs as post #37 (not moving to the usergroup designated upon confirming donation) and also as #39 (as soon as a payment is made, when paypal returns to the merchant page, it ends up displaying all my smilies).

I'd suggest that having an option to define a custom phrase for a "thank you page" would be good, or possibly defining a URL to return to after the paypal transaction is complete. (maybe this is an issue with what paypal sends back?

At the moment, the usergroup not changing once I've told it to is the one that bugs me the most. Cyb, if you need any more info on this from me, I'd be happy to help test anything you suggest.

Seems to be a lot of people complaining about the colour green. Another suggestion to Cyb - why not add another variable in the options to specify the link colour?

In the mean time if anyone wants to change this themselves, there are 2 simple options:

1. Modify the original xml product that you import before installing it. Search through the file for the line about 3/4 of the way through that looks like this:

Modify the colour value to be something else that you like (for example, red would be #FF0000, or for a complete list, you could look here.)

When you upload/install the product, it will have that colour.

2. Use the Phrase Manager in your admin CP to do the same job after it is installed.
In the left hand column, select "Languages and Phrases/Search in Phrases" and then search for the text "cybpaypal_donate" and select to search in "Phrase Variable Name Only". Click on "find" and you'll see it listed up the top with its font colour. Edit it (copy default text, change it and save it). Now you will have the colour that you want.

Pretty simple. ;)

As you can tell by my donation page, the note is pretty verbose and takes a lot of space on the page. This is why I had to remove the donation bar from homepage, and from that moment on all donations have stopped because no one clicks the "donate" option on navbar.

I wish that we could administrate an option to post the Donation Bar without the note on selected pages, and the full text will only show on the donation page.

i haven't had any donations yet, but it seems to be working.

Unfortunately, it's very easy to fake a donation; you don't even need to have a real transaction. Just click the donate button, and you already have a donation:)

You can always delete that quasi-donation record later on from the donation list.

- Activity will be logged on donation page but visible only to Admins
- PM reports will be sent (if you enable them in hack settings)
- Usergroup of potential donator will NOT be changed automatically

So they can click Donate button a million of times and get nothing before you confirm donation.

Is the button purposely set to green? Is there an option for me to change it?

Installed and working in 3.7.0, but when a donator makes a donation after it has completed the user advises:

We are using a custom style, but are using reverted templates reedited only to add borders around the pages which match the style.

Comparing the custom templates with those installed in the original templates show all security tokens are in place.....

Strangely if I go straight to that donate page directly I get no errors at all.. weird.

So any ideas?

Hack adds two Donate links to my Navbar. I have one parent style and have confirmed that I have not added any Donate links to my Navbar. When I select "Display Donate link in navbar" to On in the settings I get two links. When I turn it off, I get no links.

at first i want to say Thank You! for this extremely cool and helpful modification!
we are using it now on our website and we are extremely happy with it. :)

during the last days we have noticed that for some reason, everyone who tries to donate gets redirected to the german paypal page.
this is mostelikely caused by the fact that the account is from a german team member.
we allready set the language for the account in the paypal properties to english, but every donor ends up on the german paypal page.

now my question is if it would be possible that the script either automatically redirects the donor still to the paypal page in his language, or that you add a "language selection" (drop down menu) to the donate page, so the user can choose the language paypal should be displayed in.

would be very nice if you could take a look.

Were having the strange problem after upgrading to 3.7 and uninstalling old hack version and installing new version where the paypal page shows correctly but members donations are not getting to us. Any ideas?

Could it be down to the token issues in 3.7?

Hello, here's a new request, coming from site members and visitors alike:

If we limit donations to members only, the whole donation MOD is inaccessible to visitors.

We need to have the MOD (navbar & page) accessible to visitors while only the actual act of donation isn't permissible, so the visitor will get then the default message of requirement to login or subscribe.
