It would be in the SHOWTHREAD template which is not modified in this style. The code is at the top of the template:

Code:

        <title>$thread[prefix_plain_html] $thread[title]<if condition="$pagenumber>1"> - <phrase 1="$pagenumber">$vbphrase[page_x]</phrase></if> - $vboptions[bbtitle]</title>
Based on the code above, your title should be THREAD TITLE - FORUM NAME (title). Are you running vbseo or something else that would change that?

It works fine now. I deleted the post as it was made before I installed this style. Apparently the thread display was jacked up and made a bad transition.

Anyways, fixed now :D

Hi Mark, I just send you email and my FTP information . Thanks for your co-operation!!!

markbolyard 05-12-2008 04:12 PM

You're all set. Your forums are not set up correctly, but replied to your email.. let me know.

i really like this style. It's nice and clean. The only think I didn't like was the yellow so i edited the template a bit to my liking. I reused some of the graphics included in the style and removed the yellow from the header & the footer. I also edited most of the font colors and links.

Only thing that's left is the logo, but I'll have to wait until I can get a program to edit the psd.

Thanks for creating the style.

Hi,

GREAT SKIN!!

I was wondering if you could create buttons for those of us that have GARS running?

Actually now that I look at it I think it only requires one new button https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2008/05/13.png

Also can we make a donation to remove the wrestling link?

markbolyard 05-15-2008 12:34 PM

Yes, and Yes. I will PM you about the brand free since I don't think I can post that kind of information here on vb.org. Can you link me to the button(s) you need. The above image showed nothing and I want to make sure I get you the right ones.

Danny Diamond 05-15-2008 12:44 PM

I love em all. You do great work. :D

Yeah I'm a goof. I fixed the previous post so the button should be showing now for future browsers of this thread :D

Thank you very much for this great style. It is one of the very few styles for 3.7.0 that I like.

However, I have two small problems I would like to resolve before I move this style from my test forum to my real forum.

1 - How do I change the font that is used by the style? I do not have a problem with the default font except that it is not capable of rendering at least two characters that are used on my site: ">" and "©" Instead of properly displaying these two symbols, it gives me a blue diamond with a question mark inside it.
I attached two images showing this. You can see the blue diamond in place of the copyright symbol at the bottom of the page and in place of the > when navigating to a certain forum or thread in the breadcrumb section at the top of the page.

2 - This problem is even smaller. The time that is shown at the very top right of the forum for users who are logged in is displayed in a color that is very difficult to read against the blue background. Because you can not register or log into the forum, I have attached a screenshot of this area. On the second line of the image I have attached, you can just barely see the time in blue/gray color on the very right side.

Thank you very much!
Kienja

kienjakenobi 05-17-2008 01:44 PM

I managed to fix the color of the time by going to the Style Manager --> All Style Options --> Time Color

I then simply changed the color to black.

markbolyard 05-17-2008 02:34 PM

And you can change the fonts by going to the Main CSS for the style and entering the font face you want to use in place of the existing.

kienjakenobi 05-17-2008 03:29 PM

Thank you. However, I was wrong to think that this was caused by the font. I tried changing to font, but the issue never went away. The problem was actually in the templates.

I had to go to the footer template and the navbar_link template and replace instances of the black diamond with the character that should have been there.

Qwest 05-20-2008 08:27 PM

Anyone used the ultimate side columns hack with this?

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=175181

King Kovifor 05-20-2008 10:40 PM

I can't seem to get my header colors to match. I used the c1.psd and cropped it to 208 x 68 (what c1_02.jpg was) and saved it as that, but the outcome is below. All I did was change the text and remove some layers...

markbolyard 05-20-2008 10:51 PM

Let me try that for you... give me a minute.

King Kovifor 05-20-2008 10:58 PM

OK, for more info it says:
Spartan Tech (first line)
Support Forums (Second Line)

And let's say Top Notch Support here!

And that worked. I don't know why it wasn't working for me. Mind adding the other line?

markbolyard 05-20-2008 11:05 PM

Here you are! Don't know why your photoshop would output different...

King Kovifor 05-21-2008 12:27 AM

Cause I have no Photoshop Skills. Thanks a lot dude!

libbert 05-21-2008 06:13 AM

Great style!

I have just downloaded it, and will install it later today.

Thanks

SticKer13 05-27-2008 12:55 PM

I upgraded my forum to the latest 3.7 version last night and installed your theme once everything was setup. The theme looks great and the forums looking neat and professional.

The only problem I'm facing at the moment is when i try to change the time color from Main CSS it gives me an error. It happens when i change the color and try saving the new settings.

Error:

Code:

Required variables have gone missing and execution can not continue. Please try again.

This error can sometimes occur as a result of Suhosin / Hardened PHP being installed on your server. If you know that you have Suhosin running and you have access to the PHP configuration, try increasing the value of the following variables:

    * php_value suhosin.post.max_vars
    * php_value suhosin.request.max_vars

Any idea how i can fix this?

markbolyard 05-28-2008 02:14 PM

I would suggest reporting that to vbulletin.com. That has nothing to do with the style.

Mr. Hoddz 05-29-2008 04:32 PM

I do love this Style very much! But I have a quick question to do with editing the main navigation in the beige background.

I want to add another line, so I have two. But I get the curved edges, and I'd like only the bottom (added) navigation to have these edges. Could you help me here, or anyone else maybe?

Great style... love it. Just want to get it live!! =D

Regards, Ben

Will this work with 3.7.1?

andrewc_11890 05-31-2008 11:41 PM

Where do I remove your ads and put my own in?

markbolyard 06-01-2008 01:53 AM

Should work with 3.7.1. Haven't updated myself but can't imagine any major template changes.

NOTE: To Remove Advertisements, you simply go to the ADMINCP - > Style Manager - > Edit this styles templates - >
Revert all Ad location Templates to the default vBulletin value, or if you would like to use your own ads in place of the sample ads, edit each ad location template and replace the ad code with your own.

SticKer13 06-01-2008 09:05 AM

I'm trying to add some links in the navbar but couldn't figure out where to add the code. Can you please help me with this.

Another thing the problem of changing the color didn't get solved so in the next update please fix the time color.

Navbar links are in the header template.

vixyswillie 06-01-2008 07:31 PM

Hi Mark - VERY nice style... geat job on it! I tried installing it on my forum as you had specified above, but had problems with the graphics/buttons not showing. I'm running 3.7.1 - which might be the problem - plus I'm very new to vBulletin (so that might be the real problem). LOL

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Patrick

vixyswillie 06-01-2008 07:45 PM

Nevermind, Mark - I had one too many "curves" folders in my forum root directory. ;) Thanks again - looks fab! Marked as "installed!"

vixyswillie 06-01-2008 07:52 PM

Oh - one more thing. :) When I look in the upper right corner of my forum, I see "You last visited: Today at..." - but I can't read the time because of its color against the blue background of the banner. See attached. Any way to fix without hosing the rest of the style colors?

Thanks!

Patrick

andrewc_11890 06-01-2008 10:30 PM

You can change the time when you edit the template, just look for the time area and where you choose the color.

I have 1 problem, When I view a post it has this white box above it. How do I fix this?

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2008/06/68.jpg

I also cant figure out how to remove the google ad that is not in the header or footer, but the strait line of words that says ads by google and then like links follow it. Where is that one located?

markbolyard 06-01-2008 11:45 PM

That white box looks like your shoutbox. Refer to the documentation that is associated to your shoutbox mod. The text link ads, those should be located in the template ad_navbar_below under the Ad Location Templates. Just revert it. If it's not there (which I'm pretty sure it is, it would be in the navbar template, but I don't think so. Double click ad location templates to expand the list of templates under that, and revert all that are red.

Patrick, good to hear your figured your problem out there :)

vixyswillie 06-02-2008 01:56 AM

Hi Mark,

Actually - I wasn't able to find the place to edit that time text color. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks!

I was able to successfully edit the logo to match my site title - everything is looking great! Now if we can get that time licked, I think we're in the zone! ;)

Patrick

markbolyard 06-02-2008 02:35 AM

Under the Main CSS for the style, scroll down and look for .time which is the color for the Time. Change it there, not in the template.

First off I love this style, and thank you for your time and effort. I figured out the ads now :)

I know this is unrelated to your template but you said the white box look like my shoutbox. I don't even know what that is and I did not download a Shoutbox mod. Could anyone shed some light on this?

Also I edited the header psd logo, which file do I replace, the c1_02 or the C1_03 file?

kartik786 06-02-2008 04:52 AM

great style mate.

how much donation to remove the copyright link ?
