That's great news. I, also cannot wait. =]

nectons 04-20-2008 10:50 AM

Great! I hope it is easy to upgrade! Thanks guys at vb you are doing great work!

soulplayer 04-20-2008 11:10 AM

Does this mean that Impex will be available? I want to clean my forum from the mods that are running now, and start with a fresh install.

Marco van Herwaarden 04-20-2008 11:22 AM

A new ImpEx version will probably be released shortly after 3.7 goes gold.

PS This means that it will probably be released within a few days to a few weeks.

Not wanting to be rude, but where's the update? The news was posted friday, and today (Sunday) the forums is still in version RC3.

As the update says, it will be posted someday this week. The announcement was not announcing the release of vB 3.7. It was just saying that they are doing final testing.

prozac38 04-20-2008 02:45 PM

waiting...

soulplayer 04-20-2008 03:58 PM

?? in the coming week? So that's the week monday (21) to sunday (27)

Jase2 04-20-2008 04:30 PM

Someday this week. They tested over this weekend, to fix any remaining bugs.

I wasn't talking about that though. I was talking about:

Today, we will be updating vBulletin.com to run the final version of the code, and we will allow this to run over the weekend to get some final, extra uninterrupted testing done on a production site.
They haven't changed their forums to the final version yet:

I read in the release thread over at vb.com that they are running the final version only they did not change the name in the upper right corner of the forums.

Jasem 04-20-2008 09:07 PM

Shazz 04-20-2008 09:16 PM

Thank you, I'm so psyched about this release, this is great news. :)

Will the manual be ready as well? I've found the one I've been using to be such a great help.

Jase2 04-21-2008 12:27 AM

They are running the final version of code. They just haven't updated the version number; until all bugs are fixed.

Mum 04-21-2008 06:17 PM

Ohhhh can't wait for this one!

nexialys 04-21-2008 06:39 PM

user_not_found 04-21-2008 07:17 PM

Great news, keep up the good work.

myown 04-22-2008 04:21 AM

Lapsetur 04-22-2008 07:13 AM

They did not mention beinning or end of "next week" ....

Hornstar 04-22-2008 07:28 AM

you may have heard that tomorrow never comes because it is always today. I wonder if the same applies to next week ^^

Paul M 04-22-2008 10:27 AM

Plans always change, it will come when it comes. :)

nexialys 04-22-2008 11:29 AM

if you read the announcement today, use the thread title as an indication... it will be NEXT WEEK... so it is not ready for this week, sure...

Jase2 04-22-2008 12:27 PM

What announcement today? Kier made the announcement on Friday, therefore it is this week. I aren't bothered when it's released, just as long it is bug free hehe.

Nothing is bug free. :)

Jase2 04-22-2008 04:30 PM

True, but by that I meant, no major or obvious bugs. ;)

Paul M 04-22-2008 04:40 PM

Not all bugs are obvious ;)

Jase2 04-22-2008 05:38 PM

I know that. Just bugs that a ton of users would report straight way. So far. So good for me running release candidate. Just hope 3.7.0 is as bug free as possible, which I have no doubt it will be :)

almansoori 04-22-2008 09:43 PM

This beautiful piece of news I heard this week

Good luck to all
