I had an invite code and the code has been on my site for about 5 days now... unfortunately... of those 5 days... the woopra servers have been functional for about 24 hours.

It was cool when it was working though...

TTG 04-16-2008 01:27 AM

Still waiting .. is this now dead !?

Boofo 04-16-2008 01:44 AM

I just signed up and can't even get the confirmation code sent in an email. Sounds like a bust to me. Good luck with it. I'm not going to mess with it any further.

NeuroLancer 04-16-2008 04:54 AM

Shane thanks for releasing this. Perhaps you should put Woopra Beta in the description somewhere. Im sure once Woopra get running smoothly this will be a valuable mod

(Full file is: clientscripts/vbulletin_woopra.js)
where am I supposed to get that from? its in the admin control panel options for this mod but theres no file.

nightbloom 04-16-2008 06:20 AM

I signed up at Woopra the day this mod was released....

Not a word from them yet. Still says "pending approval" on the site. It's been a bit over 7 days now. ^^

I am waiting the full release (out of beta) so I can strip the javascript file to remove a lot of stuff. For now you can download the javascript, and place it in clientscripts and just rename it.

ptwiggens 04-16-2008 02:17 PM

I'm having a problem with this mod.

Whenever a user loads a thread, in woopra it shows them loading the page in the Woopra app 12 times simultaneously.

Any ideas?

Shane 04-17-2008 02:42 PM

I noticed that too. I will look into it more, however it seems to be only on threads.

Shane 04-20-2008 06:51 PM

It's a javascript problem with Woopra. We are working on a solution.

Gersfan 04-20-2008 06:52 PM

There website is a joke, I joined weeks ago and i have had nothing back.

Playa82 04-20-2008 08:13 PM

Check the blog, there u can find this:

A few weeks after introducing Woopra beta in WordCamp Dallas, we are happy to announce that we are going to start a massive approval process on Friday 25 of April. A new version of the software will be released on that day that includes a couple of new amazing features (segmentation, directories tracking, improved user interface, enhanced instant messaging etc…). Note that you will receive an email upon approval.

i hope i get my code at this day

FlyBoy73 04-21-2008 02:16 AM

Woopra's issues are their own. I'm sure they will get them worked out soon and this looks very promising for those of us who like to follow stats, etc.

A big thanks to you Shane for all your hard work. Once this goes prime time I will be installing this for sure!

Thanks!!

Shane 04-23-2008 02:03 AM

I noticed a huge flaw in my XML. If you get an update message, upgrade ASAP!

TheBlackPoet 04-26-2008 11:55 AM

I am a Omniture Specialist.. and what i've noticed is analytics its never as dependable as we'd like it to be.. At my office, we use Omniture Suite and Google Analytics at the same time.,
In my opinion, Omniture is better than Google Analytics because it is more powerful in the data it displays out of the box... what makes google analytics such a great tool is that its powerful and FREE!!

however.., for those who are not proficient in coding multiple pages, both google analytics and omniture (which is not free).., can be daunting...

this woopra sounds like it is a great tool for a board... because the coding is already done for you......

so, i'll wait....

KURTZ 04-26-2008 01:12 PM

3 weeks are gone ... and no mail from woopra ... i think this is a 'fake' ...

TheBlackPoet 04-26-2008 02:00 PM

could've been a info harvester??? a grand conspiracy to harvest personal info for the evil info machine that gathers our info for info purposes!?? this is just plain evil!!!

I got my code today and this software is awesome! I can't believe the desktop client and the interface. Well done!

They could charge a heafty fee for this one!

*Changed the version requirement and it runs fine on 3.6.2*

Slingblade61 04-29-2008 10:10 PM

In-freaking-credible!

Lizard King 04-29-2008 10:13 PM

Great statistics program. I am ready to ditch out analytics from my site. If anyone want more screenshot you can check http://www.ayyas.com/blogs/lizard-king/woopra-1550/

asj 04-29-2008 10:25 PM

Please upload the XML file that came with the Woopra Stats before installing or upgrading! ? :(

rrr 04-29-2008 10:35 PM

I just got my woopra approval today.

Because of their intermittent downtime, would there be a way to stop showing the woopra code if it lags for X amount of time or if their server is unreachable?

That way the site won't slow to a crawl when the woopra site goes down.

it's in the first post

Lizard King 04-29-2008 10:44 PM

However i respect your work but the script is terribly coded. The script currently adds 4 queries on each page. It definately needs to be improved

TECK 04-29-2008 10:46 PM

Nice, guys. "Beautiful way" to let woopra and other similar companies know everything about your site, so they can make tons of money of your back because you tell them step by step how and where people go and come to your sites.

I don’t like the idea of a certain company like Google Analytics having its fingers in my pocket at all time by not only providing traffic, PPC income, but also having stats as well. You really think they will give some beautiful stats for free? They will use your info and sell it to big companies like Microsoft etc. What I do with my site is my business, not their. If you like that, go ahead and use those services.

Lizard King 04-29-2008 10:54 PM

If anyone wants to remove 4 queries you need to do the following : Disable usertitle and other 2 enchanments , edit the plugin and remove the following
Code:

                        $woopra_email_phrase = fetch_phrase('email', 'global', '', '', '', $vbulletin->options['languageid']);
                        $woopra_usertitle_phrase = fetch_phrase('user_title', 'user', '', '', '', $vbulletin->options['languageid']);
                        $woopra_totalposts_phrase = fetch_phrase('total_posts', 'user', '', '', '', $vbulletin->options['languageid']);
                        $woopra_joindate_phrase = fetch_phrase('join_date', 'global', '', '', '', $vbulletin->options['languageid']);

TECK 04-29-2008 11:19 PM

Just create your own phrases in the product, to make sure there are no future conflicts.

Lizard King 04-29-2008 11:38 PM

I already did Floren :)

Marco van Herwaarden 04-30-2008 07:04 AM

Please discuss the modification in this thread. Please don't turn it into a thread discussing registration etc at woopra.

Darth Gill 04-30-2008 11:04 AM

This hack is really great - I tried it out last night after my registration was approved. I'll gladlly pay for woopra if they ever charge! Thanks so much for this awesome hack!

powerful_rogue 04-30-2008 02:01 PM

wow!

This really is superb! Was worth the wait!

We are discussing about a modification that allows users to expose their private forum information to outsiders, without realizing the danger of their actions.
Could you relax a little?
