I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling.. nothing. Using the default templates for the usercp, vb 3.7 beta 3.

Other than this, pretty awesome.

I attached a zip of all the images from FamSilk's site, PNG format of course. :)

With the changing updates there may be more links added to the nav, how does that work with this mod? Will the links show up without an image or do they not show up at all?

well, its pretty simple;

new links in the stock UserCP are added through Jelsoft changing the template.


you have modified the template, so after an update the function 'find updated templates' returns the usercp_shell template as a template that needs to be edited or reverted.

if you do neither, the new links will not show, the icons stay where they are.

if you revert, the links show, but the icons disappear.

if you want both, you have to start editing (or wait for the update in this thread)



to have the new links showing through editing yourself, you would have to:

- find appropriate icons to display with the new link.

- upload the icon file to the misc folder

- add the code for the new link to your existing (modified) template, and mirror the selection of the image from the other entries in the template.

Almost, but your png edit took away the default collapse/expand gifs. This will work with the default collapse gifs and the fam silk pngs.

I've just imported this hack in 3.7 RC 1, and it's completely destroyed the database.

Further: After installing the hack on 3.7 RC1, the whole database ceased to work properly. I then uninstalled the hack, but the problem remained.

At present, the only way I can get my board to function at all is to completely disable the plugins system altogether (via editing config.php and adding define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);).

I've managed to locate part of the problem, which is a conflict with the 'Notification of New PMs and Reputation' Hack. The two appear to conflict and cause the issue.

Rather, the conflict is with the older PM viewing enhancements hack. Since this new hack does some of the same things, having both together causes a conflict. Once I removed that older hack, this one works fine. Many thanks. And 'whew'.

I note one bit that could be improved: in the section for PMs, the tree lists the inbox and 'sent items', but does not list any custom folders when they are present (as the old Enhanced UserCP used to do). Any chance this could be added?
