Well I was going to buy this, because I didn't have any errors with the lite version and it looked like a good script.

I hadn't tried to uninstall it though, so thanks for warning me about the errors guys.

There was a Youtube Thumbnail bug.

Now fixed.

If you still got the 1.0.3 Version you have to overwrite the vbtube_add.php file from this package here in the attachment. Its a new 1.0.3 Version..

it would be nice if we could somehow add embed tags ourselves. I run a gaming forum and most of use WeGame.com to host our gaming vids but none of these video embedding mods ever include it because it isnt as "mainstream" as youtube.

Id worship you forever if you included it tho... :)

I just tried installing and I am getting 404s when trying to access the pages:

I am getting page not found on one of my other forums:

The tables are all in my db, and the product was imported and is in my product manager. The files are in the forums root, yet i am getting the 404s. I ran the tableprefix.php too.

OK, due to your hopeful response to my WeGame request, i installed.

Everything worked lovely except when I try to access a category. It says page not found.

EDIT: I see where the problem is. When a link is added, it is putting it in category "1" even though there is no category "1". When I try to change it, it just reverts back to "1".

I tested now at my Installation. I can move a video from a category to another one and if i click to a category i see those videos in there. How many categories you have ? Did you add Categories `?

Ok. Download the latest 1.0.4 Version and import the xml file and overwrite the .php files. Now you have an option to set the seo on or off at admincp.

I share with You this Message I Posted on the vbTube Mod Thread, posted on the 3.7 Mod Forum, because your Mod Destroys that other Mod when Installing it on a Forum that has it Installed. Would be nice for you to communicate with the Developper of vbTube to change the neccessary things in one of your Mods for them to Coexist, because they shouldn't Compete but to Complement Each other!! :( :confused:

I Hope You Both Can Fix that because one of the things that Amazed me is that Your Mod Overwrites and Destroys the other Mod when being installed, instead of installing as an Additional Mod on the Admin Control Panel. Did You took some code from that other Application? Does your Application Unistall the other one (vbTube)? Why does Your Application Damages the other one? Are you the same Developper of the vbTube Mod? :( :confused:

I Hope is accidental but not a intentional behaviour of this vbTubePro Mod!! :rolleyes:

Try this, Install your vBTube Mod, and then Install the vbTubePro Mod with Overwrite to Yes, and you'll see that vbTubePro Mod will take the Place of Your Mod, even in the Name of the Application wich no longer will be vbTube but vbTubePro. After that initial bump in the road, this product has been beautiful. I would still like to see WeGame added as most of my forum uses it now, but other than that not a single problem.

I did change some things, just simple aesthetic things like making the categories tidier, etc. I rather like the lite version, its simple and not very fussy.

If you can add megarotic.com videos that would be great =] as of now no one was able to embed that site yet, megarotic.com and megavideo.com

I like this hack , I want to buy it but i am waiting till it becomes gold, because i don't want to deal with any issues.

I have postet a question here why the video is not playing but for some reason somebody deleted it.

I have 3.7. RC 2 and when I click on the Thumbnail, I only get the link to the video but it is not playing as a video.

a) What i must do, that featured Youtube Videos played on the right side?

Direct loadet from youtube?

b) And how i delete the image url if user upload a video? And if i delete that, the first frame of the video displayed all times?

c) and what hapened with the very high Security Risk?

d) And why i cant search the Files in the vB Search? And why the New posts dont will be displayed in "New Threads"?

e) Why you dont use the Threadsystem from vB? Why you made your own Database? The new Threads dont be displayed in Forumhome in the Board, as a new Thread. Its not a good idea, that you dont use the vB Threads. What happened, if i delete your Mod? Then all Threads will be delete. Not good :(

Good Coder use the vB System and use the own template for the mod. Thats going ;)

Look at here. I can delete the Mod and all Threads will be there, but with normaly vB Style ;)

Hi there,

I just updated this from the older version not listed here and now I see an empty page. I guess this mod is just so people can post videos from youtube etc? Right?

The older version actually let you browse videos etc... Now that I upgraded from the old version I am wishing I didn't because now there is no content at all until we get things started...

My question is this-- Am I doing something wrong here or is that the way this mod is meant to be? It no longer pulls in videos from youtube??
