There are two Pro options from what I see: Branded and Brand Free.

Installed and working well, but Im confused as to what the arrows are to be scrolling through? I used one of the fields to add a "featured video" but beyond that Im not sure what to include, and what we're scrolling through.

Sorry, but this is one of the worst hacks i've ever seen.

In dependency on your settings it can happen that there are some houndret of queries per Page.

And for example, if you want to feature a video its not a solution to let the webmaster enter the html code. (That is one of the things i've seen) - If you want to feature a video there should be a button "Feature Video" or something similar. - There are many things I could criticize, this is only an example.

And i would not sell the ProVersion, becaus it has many security bugs. Before you sell such a product you should check for security, becaus i think your customers will not be happy if their sites get hacked.

How about posting some details for all those who have this installed and are loving it instead of coming on and bashing the addon? Wouldnt it be better to present what problems you have found so that they could be addressed?

ok, i installed this a couple of days ago. i think it's useless to even have a lite version with as little functionality as there currently is. members like quick and easy, as simple as possible.

members are not going to go thru the hassle it takes to get a youtube video up, and i sure as heck aint dishing out roughly 90 u.s. dollars for the pro version.

i will be uninstalling sometime today.

Are you kidding? Since when? This forum is full of free/for-pay MODS. I have no problems paying for MODS that help me grown my site and the ability to generate revenue. IF you don't like a MOD, you could always build it yourselft! Hats off to all you developers for building functionality for us site owners to use.

I could give you the fix to install the tables ... but you will have other problems once you finish with that step. Plenty more things to fix ... from code to templates ...

Its not effecting my board L so will wait till the coder fixes the hack to make it work properly

Good hack, aside from the fact that I'm a little disappointed to see that the better ('Pro') version requires purchase. I suppose I wish that vBulletin.org was used to help the community and not profit off of modifications.

I agree. This mod has potential. But I agree with the others. There is no way I'm forking out darn close to $100 U.S. dollars for a mod that is nothing more than just posting Youtube videos. If thats the case I'll just use the free mods where the video is automatically inserted into the post WITH free replies and such. Not pay almost $100 U.S. for almost the same thing but a different area to put them in.

I got the pro and service has been LIGHTNING fast, on a personal level (very important) and he is even addressed issues that are on my side of things.

My users are loving this and the page set up is great. It could use this or that but I'm sure with the attention he has given me that he will grow it and improve upon it.

I'll be adding the free version to my other board :)


A great mod is all about customer service. If there are security fixes and query improvements to be made, I believe he cares enough to fix them.

even tho this hack is no use without at least having comments, but i must say the google bots love it, all my clips are on google search.

You've got to take comments like that with a grain of salt or two - a lot of times its some punk who simply cant afford to pay for a product and spouting off because of it. Not saying thats necessarily the case here, but you need to consider it.

Sounds like the author is eager to provide support and to make the mod the best it can be - so if you have some suggestions or known issues let them be known.

You should add in Video comments to the free version. Kind of useless having a video gallery, and I doubt many will purchase the pro version... (They'll just either wait for another mod to come out for free that's similar to this one only better or just modify things themselves.)

Comments would make this much better and will probably get you more installs and linkbacks to your site.

Some of you got a Template Problem. Please download vbtube_watchtube Template and copy paste it.
1. admincp Templates
2. search in Templates
3. type in : vbtube_watchtube
4. Doubleclick on it and then copy paste the new vbtube_watchtube Template
5. Save
