Hey there, try changing the .alt3 class from the Extra CSS portion at the bottom of the stylesheet, as well as the forms text color. Change both of the text color there to a lighter color, such as #CCC. Let me know if you need any help.

This isn't made for 3.7. It is made for 3.6.8. I may or may not release a 3.7 version, I will try and find the time to :).

awsome style m8. One of the best free styles i've seen.

Just a question though..... I noticed you added an icon's folder yet these icons don't show up. It's still uses the icons from the original images folder. How do i get this style to use these icons provided.
I only ask because the icons i use (like my smilies) are for light backgrounds. This style obviously is dark so i could do with using different icons for different styles. Is this possible ?

cheers

Sadly, its not possible :(. That option I included is only for those who wish to use this style and only this style or only dark styles. I think vB should make it so all images can be customized per theme, but that's just me :P.

Butcher 01-06-2008 09:38 PM

yup me too :)

It's what i thought anyway was just double checking. Hopefully a mod mightbe made where you can chose different smilies/icon's per style.

Thnx for the reply anyway

Awsome skin - installed!
However, I have a problem with navbar in 3.6.8?
Almost every hack I try to install does not work with the navbar???
Where do I edit the navbar correctly to get hacks and custom links to work?
This is probably a VB issue, but if someone can help an old noob, I would be gratefu!

Butcher 01-07-2008 08:16 PM

this isn't a default template so almost no hacks will auto input the code into the navbar. However instruction should tell you which veriable to place in your custom skins. As for this skin and like most others the navbar code is now in the header template

Audentio 01-08-2008 08:13 PM

Thanks Butcher! He's right. Many people like the look of the navbar being under the main header image or area and that is only possible by dropping it into the header template before the width change. So few or no mods where the navbar is edited or altered will work Im afraid.

chuckrobbie 01-09-2008 04:43 AM

Thanks Guys
I have managed to get some of the mods to work :)
Cheers

Hey Audentio,

i only can find;
.alt3 {
margin: 2px 0px 2px 2px;
padding: 4px 9px 4px 9px;
font-size: 11px;
border: 1px solid #1a1a1a;
background: #343434;
color: #0e0e0e;
}
it is not at the bottom of the stylesheet(xml)
so i am looking at the wrong direction, can you help me out?

regards
John

Audentio 01-10-2008 10:03 PM

No, thats the right code, whats the problem again? If you want to change the font color, change the color: #0e0e0e; to color: #cccccc; for example or another lighter color. You can also change the background color if you'd like.

Amazing skin,

By far the best free one out. Uses the theme well and the quality is superb! Only one thing. The text in the box's by the forums "Threads : number here" and "Posts: Number here" Are black. Which isn't really a good idea on a forum based on a black back ground, Any thing to change that?

Audentio 01-21-2008 04:50 PM

Thanks so much for your kind words. To fix that, find .alt3 {

in the extra css portion and change:

color: #000;

to

color: #FFF; (or another hex code). Thanks! Let me know fi you need help with that.

trance nation 01-22-2008 03:09 PM

Yeah that did,

Also how do i change the color of the text on the new thread *Automatically parse links in text
, Disable smilies in text* There all black and really hard to see. Sorry to be such a bother.

Edit: No worries, A light version of this would rock :p

Audentio 01-22-2008 06:42 PM

That is under the .panel class. Its a default class in your stylesheet. Change the #000 or #000000 to a lighter colors.

Ill release a v2 with these problems fixed for 3.7 when it is officially released :).

trance nation 01-23-2008 09:59 AM

Brilliant idea, Would be amazing if you could make say a version two. *New vbulletins default skin*

Why wouldn't it? Put them in hazardous/buttons and it should be fine.

Straightupimp 02-06-2008 11:42 PM

Brew 02-18-2008 01:50 PM

You won't believe how this skin looks like it was made for my site.

When you think of this skin do you think of Critical Reactor?

http://www.criticalreactor.com/forums/

Awesome work man.

Thanks!

Tharos 02-26-2008 01:45 PM

it is what I was looking for!!!
thanks dude!!!

-INSTALLED- ;)

wtfsoccerdude 04-13-2008 08:54 AM

Thanks for the wonderful skin but I have some problems with the images.

Firstly, is it possible to remove the outline on the logo and links we get on clicking it?

http://warezimage.com/files/asqe3i6epjcoa79w9ymh.jpg

Secondly, I get a yellow border around the banner for my forum. How to remove that as well? I tried finding it in the CSS but no luck :P.

http://warezimage.com/files/976vdpkctk700il72m0l.jpg

Thirdly, how to have a custom code box?

http://warezimage.com/files/9m9da8nnhxxag50oeaba.jpg

On more thing that is it possible to have .PNG forum icons? Or teach me how to create transparent .gif in Photoshop lol...

A lot of questions - Sorry! :|

Thanks!

chaser.nl 04-13-2008 01:56 PM

Add border="0" to the image.

Edit bbcode_code template. :)

And as far as transparent images, is there something you are trying to do specifically? Its just erasing the pixels on the background and exporting.

wtfsoccerdude 04-15-2008 10:01 PM

Nope, 'm on Firefox.
Border fixed!
Images fixed!
Code box edit code found :)

Thanks for the response Audentio :).

Love your work!

goldoff 04-27-2008 03:49 PM

Great style indeed!

I find a little problem, though:

While all copyright and timezone text looks OK on all pages, it appears enormous in the forumhome. While thinking it could be a tag lacking, I?ve tried to edit the common templates, even reverting them, but no success :(

This is how it looks:

http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/6176/haz1il7.jpg

While the rest of pages show it OK:

http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/8223/haz2yp6.jpg

Any suggestion?

Thank you in advance
