I have just finished testing the new script and all is working fine.
I will be adding the new script some time today or tomorrow.

The new version is both cash and no cash system in one,
in the settings you will choose if you want the cash system or if you want the no cash system.

All templates will change to what one you choose.
im also sorting out when you beat someones top score it will PM the old player that had the top score.

I still have that 'Array' error! :(

what cash system are you using and ill make a add-on to the name that tune for updating the users credits

I have put a little pack of ten tunes together if anyone wishes to use them

create a new category called Intro's (because thats what they all are lol)

all clips are in mp3 format and are 10 seconds long

I have also included a readme file with the answers and my suggested titles and clues but feel free to put whatever you want.

If you enjoy them or want more let me know I am going to do a 60's, 70's, 80's. etc zip soon if you want to make any category requests let me know

Thanks m8 for the mp3 zip file.

This version is alot better than the other one as its 2 versions in one and makes it easyer for you the admin if you dont have a cash system to use, as you dont have to download the right zip file for no cash system or download the cash system one.

I do try and make things as easy as i can for everyone that uses my scripts.

One small problem is when people click on "Past Winners" It brings up the clip and the answer.

Another question, dont know how easy/difficult this would be - if even possible!

Some sort of mass upload system. You upload a load of tunes and it imports them and gives them a number.

Eg - I have 450 Tv Theme tunes. I upload them to /tunes/Tv and use a mass import system via the ACP. "Upload from"

It numbers each tune as 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 etc etc

when they are then played. it cuts each tune off at 10 seconds (or however long you set as)

This really is a fantatsic program, but ive just done 25 theme tunes (load, cut in size, resave, upload, import) and it takes so much time.

As for automatically splitting a MP3 on uploading would not be easy but i might be able to change the MP3 player to only play a set amout of time of the MP3 file.

File update

I have found that there is an array error only when you are on the home page of the name that tune script.
Well i think i have found the error for this and this is the updated php file.

This new file is for the new zip file i have already put here not for the older version like the No cash system zip or the cash system zip.
This new file is for the new version of name that tune only that uses both no cash and cash systems.

Would it be possible using the points version to only close the clip to the person that has given the correct answer, but keep it open for other people to guess?

With the import system you are working on, how would it work with the song names? Say i upload:

Friends.mp3
The Bill.mp3
Neighbours.mp3

Would it rename them
1.mp3
2.mp3
3.mp3 and so on?

There is away to keep the file names you use for a file thats being uploaded, but the import system i will make will be a xml import, so the only thing that you will have to do is upload the mp3 files to the tunes folder.
Also you might have to edit the xml file and change the categorie its being install in, or i might try and sort it so thats an option in the import to choose the categorie the tunes are for.

Hi all

Just a quick update.

I have just finished adding in a import sustem and have just tested it and all is working.

With the import system added you can just upload the MP3 files to the tunes folder then login to admincp name that tune import MP3s and hay you have just imported 10 tunes in one go, i have also added that you choose what categorie you put the tunes into.

I will update the zip file later tonight and post here that the zip has been updated ones i have finished updating a few more things.

This will be a upgrade as there will be some new phrases to install as well.

I just tried the import with the xml file and it works fine, but it seems to put all the files into one category or am I doing something wrong. Is there anyway to separate the categories or do you half to do this separately and manually?

Scroll this screen up to downloads and you will see the xml.zip file. Unzip and click name that tune options from your admincp and import .xml file. Works fine for me. :)

When you click on the import option in name that tune you will see that you can select the category at the top of the page.

Thats how you change the categories for your mp3 on import.

Hi there

I have now fixed it so members cannot go back and try again to beat there scores.
If they do when they send the scores it will check to see if they have a score already and will show them a error message if they have a score.
If they dont have a score it will save the score as before.

In the error message it says if you do have more then one score per tune you could be band for cheating.

This error message can be changed in the phrases manager just look for
phrase mmnamett_already_played_part1

And change to your needs

Since installing version 1.3 I get the following error message when I enter the name of the song and press Submit. Any ideas how I can fix this?

sorry for the problem i missed some thing in the product.xml file

I have made this version 1.4 as many of you would have installed and upgraded to version 1.3 already.

Just re upload all files in the UPLOAD folder to your forum root.
And import the new product.xml to install version 1.4

This will fix the database errors you have been having

As it stands i have taken this out of beta as there has been no more errors for this mod.
So like i said i am making a new MP3 player for this and you will have a choose of colors for your site as well.

Im working on version 1.5 where you will be able to edit/delete the past winners in the admincp.
Im also making a inline mod section for name that tune so that you can give admin access to members to add or import new tunes in the users page of name that tune.
This will be done through user group permissions that only the admin will be able to set.
