Is there a way to make it so they don't redirect anymore after already being redirected?
I want to use it for my members to redirect them to polls, but I don't want them to have to keep being redirected every time they login, they will get annoyed. |
yes ! me too would love to see this work when the user logs in for the first time only !
i was planning to redirect them to a page where they can invite their friends after the first login after register :) its a relatively new site .. so i have only like 50 members now ... but hope to increase |
Hi,
Is it possible to redirect the user after the first login only? This way you can send the users to the rule page before let them read the threads. Thanks |
hm
after first login? you mean after registration? |
can it be done like this, a newly joined member can redirected to lets say any rules.php or any thread? and in the same time regular other members will redirected to any page.
or lets say only the option for newly joined member?! |
you could make a redirect after the registration process or something like this:)
also there is a add-on which can mark threads as "must be see"(sorry, don't know whats the right word for it..) |

i would say the easiest way would be to redirect them after the registration
that would be very easy |
could this cause a problem with cookies & logging in?
we have http://www.ourdomain.com/ with a form for logging in that uses the vbulletin authentication system and so on...the forms action is set to http://www.ourdomain.com/forum/login.php. then we have this mod installed and after the login, the user is redirected to http://www.ourdomain.com/index.php which checks if the user is logged in and displays the page contents or if not logged in displays the login form again. but certain users are experiencing troubles logging in and the main answer im getting is that its cookies based and im trying to eliminate possibly issues. any thoughts? thanks! |
has anyone tried this with vb3.7?
