Imagine if we could add html for the (auto reply) messages
1- you can add google adsense
2-you can make the messages colored and that kind of thing

if you put the user that makes the auto replies in a usergroup that has permission to have html in their signature you can add your adsense code to the sig.

Well, it turns my entire forum white, and nothing shows when I have it installed.

Same for me. I have it set to Reply to unanswered threads only. But it replies to every thread.

Question:

I also use the Forms plugin for some Forums, and when using the forms to post a new thread, the auto reply doesnt work.
I think this is a normal thing, because the reply hook is monitoring the newthread and doenst react on the Forms newthread.

Difference in the URL is:

newthread.php?do=newthread&f=70 (for normal new thread and works with auto reply)

newthread.php?do=determinatie-form (for forms on my forum, and doesnt work)

What can I change to get this to work, what is the trigger that activates Auto Reply?

I've had this mod installed and working perfectly since its installation. I was wanting to know if it would be possible to have a separate auto-reply in a different forum.
I use this mod to reply to those who apply for membership in to our clan. We have two separate Applications Forums(Paid and Free) and this mod auto-replies to one of those. I would really like to be able to have both forums have the auto-reply if possible.

So, when someone signs up and confirms their membership, it will automatically add a "welcome" message to the 'getting started' forum that I created? Is this correct?

Since I'm a newb I definitely don't want to overdo it with things that I might be having issues with later.

No, this will automatically reply to threads in selected forums.

For example: You have "Member Introductions" forum where newbies are creating "hello, I'm new..." threads, and you have no time to reply to all of them. Then you install this hack, set messages to be posted and hack will do this job for you. You can write several messages, they will be used randomly in replies. There are other useful options... check attached screenshot and hack settings when install.
