Mine went better than the Fri. the 13th that we had a couple months ago. At about 6 p.m. that night, one of my dogs came limping home after having just attacked a porcupine. Of course no vets are open that late except the emergency vets. ~150 quills lesser, $400 poorer, and three hours later, we headed home.

My Friday the 13th was fine, with the exception of this territorial pitbull we came across on our walk to the store!:eek: She wouldn't let us pass. I wanted to use my pepper-spray on her, but my hands were full, my pepper-spray was in the bottom of my purse (stupid place for it, I know), and I panicked. So, I stomped my foot on the ground and yelled at her, and got her backed onto the grass off the sidewalk, and we were able to pass. Haven't been that scared in a long time...I'm not usually afraid of dogs, either.:erm:

Saturday the 14th was another story! OMG, first we overslept, so my hubby was late for work, and which also means we also got a late start...a BAD thing when you rely on public transit and the bank closes at noon. I just recently began going to a different (closer, easier to get to) branch of our bank. So, we hop two buses to this bank branch, not realizing it's CLOSED on Saturdays! The time was 11:15, so we had 45 minutes (and two buses) to make it to the other bank branch...we made it with 15 minutes to spare, thankfully. Picked the wrong day to bring in our spare change, that's for sure!

After that, the plan was to go to the brand-new SuperTarget in the Midway Mall, to buy my kids each a case for their iPod Nanos, but wouldn't you know it...it was closed, too!:eek: It opens on July 29th. *Sigh*:erm:

It was totally one of those days I wish I could do a do-over on...hehe.:rolleyes:

Thanks. We found out on Mother's day (i say that since she fractured her tail bone and that led to the discovery). Just went down hill. :(

They gave her 6 months. She is doing really bad, which seems to be moving the 6 up to 4, right around my birthday. It really does suck. My "family" doesn't seem to die of old age. It's usually cancer (since I was born, 2 with cancer, 1 just before my brother was born).
