I'm not sure how to do that one. The avatar section isn't an option in the extra profile fields area as far as i can tell.

It kinda works on my site. I installed it and checked out my new avatar and it looked nice. The problem is that nobody elses avatar shows up anymore, and I've changed the usergroup to only include admin.

Yep, works well, have installed and got it up and running. Now all i have to do is put up a better video. :)

This is kinda odd.

It works for me, but not anyone else. This is the postbit code:

There are several people in usergroup 25 as a secondary usergroup, including me. It works perfectly for me, but everyone else is just getting their old avatar.

The only difference I can think of is that the others have several secondary usergroups (including video avatar), whereas I only have the video avatar one.

Weird thing is, it's working perfectly in their profiles. Just not the postbit. And the conditionals appear to be the same in both.

Additional note -- it seems that, although I can see my own video avatar just fine, others cannot! Presumably, again, those with more than one secondary usergroup.

Any update on this? This is a great idea, if it works.

This should be what is needed for all usergroups to show it.... edit the first array for primary usergroup numbers, and the second array for secondary usergroup numbers.


Just replace your current "if condition" array with this one, edit the usergroup numbers and the field number, and let me know how it works.

Yes, the way this is designed to work is allow only the usergroups you want to have video avatars, but ALL usergroups, even unregistered should be able to see it.

i have this hack installed and working great but is there a way to make it so everyone can view the avatars? currently it's a supporter feature at my site and if you're not a supporter you can't even see the users avatar..they see the previous avatar
