why does ERROR come up when i see the plug in?

it works really great ;) but i wanan prevent users from marking the words it doesn't do that it only prevents the right click -_- even when Prevent Right Click On Everything is on is there a way to prevent members from marking the words

Come on??? Why are the comments about Firefox 100% ignored? If it can't work in Firefox please say so rather than ignoring the members.

I understand that the world has not yet seen past IE, but some forums do have a pretty big userbase of Mozilla users. :) Is this issue not able to be addressed? I have tried it in Firefox, I do get the dialog for right click is disabled, as soon as I click ok the right click menu pops up. But hey this does work great in IE. Excellent mod and great idea on the images only concept!

I don't get any errors in FF so I can't reallly find any thing to fix. If another coder wants to give it a shot they have my blessing, I'm absent on the forums here because of the lack of time.

Noticed when viewing as guest or member with custom skin(s) you can right click anything and copy except for images even though I have copy anything/images set to no.
Your hack works like it suppose to when viewing with vB default skin, the right click is disabled on copy anything or image. Any ideas what could be causing the copy anything to be enabled when viewing with custom skin even though the image right click is disabled in custom skin? :confused:

The hack is looking for "<!-- /logo -->" in your header, so if your custom code doesn't have it it will not work in its entirety.

What I can suggest is after your Logo code add "<!-- /logo -->" .

just installed v5 and its left a piece of text in one of the templates that says "search_text"

this goes away once you log in but is on the login template somewhere. Couldnt find where it was so i uninstalled V5 and went back to v4. Works a treat, and will install v5 when bugs have been ironed out.

UMMM admins can't right click now..lol any solutions?

There is a little thing ive been working on but its actually relevant to the photoplog lite system..............the no right click is an image or text or everything, however when you select an image in photoplog and the selct the image again it actually takes the image "out of the site" as it were so the right click is available hence the image can easily be harvested just curious how we can remove the right click on the photoplog image (the final image as it does disable the normal viewing of the images)

i do notice while in forumdisplay i can right click..but when i'm on the index of my forum..and try to right click i get the no right click message.

also vbadvanced users beware...................it displays search_text at the top left when installed im trying to find out why.

Finished.... Fixed all bugs that were found.

Setting the Forumid to "0" will disable the entire forum for that particular setting.

This is a great hack that has been working well on my site - until I installed today's update of v5.0.0. For some reason the usergroups for which I disable right click have text appearing above the header image. It reads "search_text" and pushes the header image down a little.

For this reason, I have uninstalled v5.0.0 and re-installed v4.0.1, which does not do this but works fine.

Great work dude, but perhaps needs a tweak here and there on v5.0.0

Any plans of getting this hack to work on 3.7? It works now on b3 to a point, but you have no control of who can or cannot use the feature. It stays on for everyone. :(

I'll have to dl and install vb3.7, I was waiting for the release of a more stable one but I guess I can try the present. It was made for vb3.6 and vb3.7 is alot different than vb3.6.


Uninstall and Download and install the present one that is here now which has been updated. Thanks!
