Nice one. I am having two issue with this. When a user go to the chat room first time he can use it fine. But when he leaves it still show him there. Another problem is as he is still in there he cant get into the chat room again. I hope i explained it to you. Is there any way I can fix this problem ?

Not sure, this hack is only for the Admin CP, and has nothing to do with your problem, it may have something to do with the FC integration. I would ask this question over at Paul M's thread, and he may be able to answer this one.

Please PM me with temporary admin login so I can look into it further when I have time.

This entire hack blocks me from being able to use the vB DB backup as it hangs up during the flashcat portion of the DB backup.

Please elaborate, as this hack does not touch the DB at all, it only adds FC's admin panel into the Admin CP, with a corresponding AdminCP menu, that is it.

Also, can you tell me how this is causing you a problem when you have not even downloaded this hack:

NOTE: If you are not experiencing problems then there is no need to upgrade to this version, v2.0 is good enough.

I think I installed it correctly but when I lick on the flash chat I am sent to a chat room with nothing in it. Do you know what I did wrong>

I had the same problem with my vjournal download. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong.

I also don't have a flash chat amin panel. It is in the options area.

I work full time and have limited time to provide free support for this free hack.

Secondly, had a quick look, you do not seem to have FlashChat installed, if you do then you either do not have the Flashchat integration installed or if you do, then do not have installed correctly. Ask over in Paul M's thread, once you have Flashchat installed and the integration working and if there is still problems with the admin cp integration I will be happy to look at it, as long as you have clicked Mark as Installed.

The Admin panel just says Flashchat is not installed, but I know it is. I can't find flashchat_path. Where do I look?

Have you installed Paul M's FlashChat Integration?

If not, then you will need to do so, as this hack will not work without that installed (link to that hack is in the first post).

If you have, and you still can not find the flashchat_path phrase (part of said hack) then ask over at Paul M's thread about it.

If you have any issues with this hack after that one is working correctly then post here again.

I too would like to limit access to other admistrators. Have you had any luck in wrapping this mod in Admistrator Permissions so that I can prevent certain admin's from viewing the chat logs?

I found an article on how to do this but it involved creating new admin permission plugins and didn't feel like going to that much work . However I did quickly figure out how to piggy back on an existing admin permission category and make a simple change to your code to make this work.

I edited the cpnav_flashchat.xml file and changed the following line

<navgroup phrase="flashchat_admincp" hr="true" displayorder="15" permissions="can_administer_plugins">

adding the permissions tag. The admin that I don't want access to this also doesn't have access to change plugins so that works.

Thanks for that, I have probably read the same article as you, I will need to re-read it as if I am going to do this, then I want it to have its' own permission, not one that is tied into another permission, which you noticed was the quick solution, so am still looking into it, and will post an update as soon as I get it working.

ok... I have installed and unininstalled. Then installed again and still get the same problem in the acp. here is the error:

The requested URL /forums/admincp/..%7B$vbulletin-%3Eoptions[flashchat_path]%7D/chat/admin/roomlist.php? does not exist.

I have the latest stable version installed (FlashChat 4.7.12) in the Forums/Chat/ folder and I have installed Paul M's integration. His integration works fine but this admin panel integration is not.

Can somebody please tell me how to get this to work?
